Quiet room. Bed was comfortable

It was very small and cramped

Nice motel close by the lake. We stayed here for the Taupo run, and it was close to the starting and ending point, so it was convenient.

A bit dated, but still comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

The location was great. Walking distance to eating places. A beautiful view of the lake if you walked across the road. It had everything we needed. The shower was fabulous.

There was a stain on the duvet cover. We were right opposite the pool/sauna which was noisy at first, but this was well managed by the staff.

Perfect location. Right in front of the lake, Close to the restaurants.

Electric blankets didn’t work, we managed with the heat pump.

I was looking for a budget place to stay overnight on my journey south. I needed a ground floor room due to an injury. The staff were very accommodating with a late check out (for a small charge). Room was clean, comfortable, well appointed, even had a little table and chairs outside. Had to ask for the WiFi password, but internet was decent once connected.

Didn't get much info when I checked in, but I did arrive later in the day. Had to ask for the WiFi password, and read in the book there was a pool etc, but wasn't told anything at check in.

It was close to town and the staff were polite and helpful, plenty of clean towels to use and the spa and heated pool guests can use is very handy

Ants 🐜 in the shower and around the room, also down by the pool. The rooms are advertised as soundproof but theu definitely are not

It was exactly what we needed, nothing fancy, basic facilities. Walking distance to town and shops.

Drawers had rubbish inside. No sink in room like the other room as I booked 2 for My Kids. I didn't like washing dishes in bathroom. Ants were an issue.

Was pretty dated! , we had random child run into our room upstairs that were staying downstairs.

It's such a lovely sized room for two.. Had everything you needed, too.

The bed was hard which made it hard to get to sleep and the only fault was the top bed cover was dirty it could have really used a wash.

Location to Town, restaurants & Lake was 100%

The bed... slump, thus pretty worn - needs replacing. No bath..... expect a premium motel would have a bath, standard.

Really good location walking distance to bars, marathon start/finish line and after party, bottle store and supermarkets etc.
