How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bathroom needs some serious maintenance to get rid of all impact of humidity. All the rest (hot water etc) is fine.
Needed “emergency” stay for one night in Kathmandu due to earlier arrival back from the trekking. Hotel was able to accommodate our needs was flexible and kind with room allocation. Very attentive staff.

I'm quite satisfied overall.
The staff are exceptional at this hotel. Super friendly, helpful and always obliging. Enjoyed the breakfasts, particularly the Indian breakfasts. Good coffee, too. Rooms are fine though in need of an update, I feel. A lick of fresh paint would help. However, they are clean and quiet and serviced every day. WiFi is generally good.

1. Room didnot provide us with toiletries. Only provided us with a soggy roll of toilet paper 2. Complementary breakfast was poor. Provided just omlette, toast, banana and coffee 3. Most hotel in Katmandu has a balcony with such rooms. This hotel did not
1. Rooms are quite larger than any other such hotels in Katmandu I had stayed earlier 2. They had king size and comfortable beds 3. Air conditioning was good 4. Rooms were quite clean and cozy 5. Hotel had elevator so didnot have to walk up the stairs to my room in the 4th floor 6. Staffs were really courteous and helpful

I asked for wake a call but didn't get any and when i asked the reception guy he said he was busy with a group. Please treat group and single guest equally. Again i asked for my luggages from my room as i was leaving for airport but he was delaying and i didn't asked this time but he said he was busy with something else. It's very small thing but hearing that doesn't sound good. May be you can hire one more staffs for small things.
I like their customer service, when i checked female receptionist was friendly and helpful. Liked the room too, room size is perfect for single person even for 2 person. It very reasonable and clean. I took shower at late night in this cold weather still i got hot water which impressed me a lot. Staffs are friendly and serve you with beautiful smile. Surely visit again.

Rooms were not that spacious
The check in was not very smooth. There was only one person at the desk and I had to insist to get one more person. I had asked for a higher floor they gave me ground floor may be due to non availability I wouldn't know. The rooms are spacious enough for two pax. The bed and pillows are very comfy. The location is good far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and next to Ambience mall and close to the airport. It is a good property with lot of open spaces and greenery. The breakfast spread is very good.

The hotel ask us to pay 2 nights for early check-in and we moved to another place having better facilities and same price after staying for 9 hrs
The hotel break fast was superb, parathas served with jam butter and omelette and tea

My room carpet was so dirty I have to put my sleepers on all the time, toilet /bathroom was so stinky. bed was ok but there were hair on the bed as well. Found dustballs in corner the cleaner must have forgotten to wipe perhaps, I have mentioned this to the staff as well, this one is just my room …I booked 3 rooms and other 2 rooms were fine including bathrooms.
Location was very good, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok as well.
