The owner’s son kindly took us for a walk near the edge of Chitwan National Park, where — to our great surprise and delight — we saw a herd of deer returning home at dusk. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and full of care. One morning, as we were enjoying our meal, an elephant walked right past the hotel entrance — an unforgettable moment! Throughout our stay, the owner was attentive, always checking in on us and generously sharing insights about Nepali life and culture. probably the best hotel in Sauraha! it is very quiet and beautiful here and the staff is very hospitable. the hotel is located near rice fields, which creates an incredible atmosphere, and in the yard there is a beautiful garden where you can eat. the rooms are spacious and cozy. staying in this hotel brightened up my days here:)

Towels could do with refresh - they were clean but old. Bathroom smelled a bit damp.

Dilip is a helpful and attentive host without being overbearing. He has a good team working at the hotel. Food was good - we ate several times at the hotel. Gardens were nice and the hotel surroundings amongst the mustard fileds were good. We even saw a rhino right next to the hotel

Anywhere in Nepal, this hotel is outstanding! Besides having incredibly helpful staff, consistent hot water, and high-speed Wi-Fi that doesn't disconnect even during power outages, the food served in the restaurant is delicious too! It's a hotel I would definitely recommend to friends!

Nice little hotel, in a very quiet and peaceful area but only 10 min walking from the main roads. Good facilities and a restaurant there, very handy. The owner Dilip and his family are always there to assist you and have a chat. We wanted to visit the national park and they organised everything for us, we spent 3 amazing days walking in the jungle! A special thanks to our guide Dipas and Raju that made the experience incredible!

Maybe the location is not the best, as a female single traveller I wasn't always comfortable cycling back to the hotel after dark because some of the rhinos like to walk in town sometimes. But it turned out to be ok every time. And at the same time I appreciated the peaceful environment away from the busy main street.

The hotel is located on a quiet road 15-20 mins walk away from the main street. The whole place is nice and tidy. The rooms are spacious and also clean. There is a kettle in the room and they are happy to provide a hairdryer when needed. They let you use one of their bikes if you don't feel walking to the main street. Everyone was really kind and helpful. The food was really nice. It was one of my favourite stays while I was in Nepal.

I stayed for 4 nights and would easily stay more, as the place was really worth it. Sauraha and Chitwan aren´t only the jungle (which of course is a unique experience). Hotel Tree Tops is a very cozy and welcoming hotel, with extremely polite and warm owners. They were kind enough to get me from the bus stop when arriving, as well as get me back there when leaving. They helped me organize two walking tours in the National Park, with super experienced guides that made me feel safe in the jungle while informing me about the flora and fauna we came across. The hotel is only a few minutes walking from the center of Sauraha, making it quiet and ideal for a nice sleep, which is also the main goal of the owners. It is surrounded by rice fields that fill the heart when strolling around. The breakfast offered was eggs (in any of the usual forms), which is typical in Nepali budget hotels, along with potatoes and coffee. The hotel also has two bicycles that offers them for free to the guests (only asking for a possible contribution to maintain them). That really came in handy when I wanted to visit some of the Tharu villages around Chitwan.

We like our 4 nights there, the owner are very accommodating and welcoming.The rooms are big,clean foods is good and the HOT SHOWER is working very well we miss it😂 They managed our tours with no hassle together with a good guide.

The quality of service and the attention to details was praiseworthy. The staff took care of us from the moment we arrived at the bus park, which made our journey to the hotel that much easier, not having to worry how to find the hotel. The room was large, spacious and modern. The view of the sunset from the room was surreal. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again.

Very relaxing and amazing place to stay. We had stayed there for 2 days. The staff members were friendly and location was perfect as well. The hotel is situated in quiet place . Regarding food , please try their BBQ and Nepali food which is mouth watering . Everything! Stop searching where to stay and book a room at Hotel Tree Tops. I originally booked one night and stayed for nine. And to be honest, it was super hard to leave—felt like home! Why I love this place: •the family who runs it is super friendly, caring and helpful •super affordable •breakfast is included (toast, eggs and tea) •there were 2 bikes, guests could use for free to get around town and explore •hot water •wifi •towels provided •private rooms with bathroom •great views (if you come in December the mustard seed plants are vibrant and yellow) •good location (10 minute walk from bus stop, 10-15 minute walk to restaurants/main street) •super friendly dog so if you’re a dog lover give him some love and you’ll be his best friend! If you’re not a dog lover, no worries as he keeps to himself unless you give him love!
