Kitchen is available. Owner also allows us to harvest her mint leaves for cooking. Answering many of our questions and helped us solved the problem of taxi cancellation, so we can catch up our flight on time! Help us save the money and live comfortable! So nice of her!

We had a lovely stay at Subi Home! The atmosphere was truly welcoming, thanks to the kind and accommodating family staff who made us feel right at home. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort and provided helpful local tips that made our visit even more special. The location is spot-on—peaceful yet close to some of Kathmandu’s most cherished landmarks. It's just a short walk to Triten Norbutse Monastery and the iconic Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), which was perfect for morning strolls or sunset visits. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the overall vibe was calm and restorative. A great spot for travelers seeking something more personal and authentic than a hotel chain. Would definitely recommend Subi Home to anyone visiting Kathmandu who values warmth, location, and a homely experience.

Perfect location. Very near to Kathmandu ringroad yet very peaceful.

We felt very welcome and treated kindly by the host from the start. This is our second stay and we are delighted to return. The mattress is very comfortable and the location is superb for our needs. The shared bathroom is fine and passable. Food - Really yummy and homemade goodness should you need some food or feel tired after a long day. Access to shared kitchen which is very helpful for travellers and vegetarians too who wish to cook their own food. It's great to have access to hot water for drinking any time. Access to laundry which is wonderful and convenient. There are always lovely little flowers on the steps which is a nice touch. The surrounds are lovely and one of the nicest places in busy Kathmandu close to the forest with spectacular views. This is a great option for solo travellers and women who may be first time travellers.

Host family are friendly and gave me a warm welcome. It was so comfortable that I extended my stay. The best place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle.

Very friendly and hospitable owners. Good cooking facilities, the kitchen and the rooms are very clean as well as the shower. Every time I stayed here they were very pleasant neighbors too.

Everything was really nice. Sanjita was super nice and even invited me for food and delicious milk tea daily. I felt really well taken care of and can recommend her home warmly.

Great location, nice big rooms , cozy and comfortable. Nice shared kitchen, with both solar and gas hot showers. Authentic and friendly Homestay. Great location away from the city pollution. Great sun terrace. Laundry facilities.

The family is so kind and made me feel very welcome. It was also nice to have a kitchen I could use and 24-hour hot water to shower.

Sanjita and baburam went out of there way to make are stay perfect. Such lovely helpful people Will definitely stay again Wonderful comfortable bed. Made us a lovely breakfast before booking are taxi to the airport

It was a little far out without transport But we were happy to walk.

It's my first time to come to Nepal.I really enjoy my stay here.It's far from busy areas and quiet.Sunzida and her family are really friendly and hospitable.It makes me feel like at home.I would like to come back in the future for my hiking trip.

The enviroment, the mountains view beautiful, it is silent area in the suburb, but the city centre available around 1 hour by walking.

The family who offers the rooms of their own home here are exceptionally friendly. The home is very clean and has a cozy and safe feel. There is a shared kitchen area and small frig.

Beautiful home and so lovely like family , the owners wife became like a sister to me. Really looked after me making me tea and cooking lovely Nepalese dishes so beautifully cooked. The best food ever. I feel so lucky to have stayed here and met this lovely lady and her cute children. So much care and kindness . Very happy with room very comfortable and enjoyed cooking My own meals. I was so sad to leave . Really touched my heart.

The family is really friendly and super welcome. They were available all the time to help and support. The place is very clean and in a very quite district outside the traffic jam of the city.

Rooms are cool and comfortable, the family are so lovely and the home cooking is incredible! Some of the best food The area is so peaceful yet close enough to everything. We had an incredible stay here and at such amazing value. Could not have asked for a better stay. The rooftop terrace is a great asset and the house is so beautiful. Thank you for having us and making our first week so relaxing and comfortable :)

Great location, good food and nice people.

The property is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, next to the forest. Significantly better air than in the city center. The hosts were the most welcoming and caring we ever stayed at. We really tasted the local culture and cuisine thanks to Sanjita's delicious food and guidance. We really felt like home for two weeks.

The only inconvenience that we experienced was that for going in the center area we needed a car or going by bus. The hosts offered us most of the time transport service as well.
