I highly recommend for trekkers to stay Hotel New Era. It's affordable and clean. Thanks to staffs we were able to rent a bike for the travel.

We booked the perfect hotel located in center of the city. Hotel was quiet and nice. Rooms were a bit cozy but it was fine. We visited heritages, temples, stupas such a beautiful places in Nepal. We really had a great time.

It was just located inside a small alley where taxi cannot pick up directly. So if you have luggage, you may walk 3-4 minutes to get on the main street.

Budget friendly yet the comfort and convenience is still best. It was a short stay since we got an early morning flight but overall experience is good.

I stayed one night during my solo trip to Nepal.Despite a specific check in time they allowed me to check in early as i reached at hotel early in the morning.Grateful for this kind gesture 🙏, Room was nice & clean,budget friendly, 24hrs hot water plus hotel location was also easy to find out. We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. We did stay couple more nights and tried Nepali foods a lot. We highly recommend this hotel inside Thamel!

Well I booked the perfect hotel in Thamel. Such a quiet place and easy to explore around. They also provided me the perfect itinerary which was really helpful to explore. Sightseeing around the city with such a religious and historical heritages caught my eye. My guide Mr. Hemraj was a very funny and helpful person. After finishing Kathmandu valley, I went to explore Pokhara. Such a beautiful place with lake and mountain scenery. It was like a paradise. So it's a must visit place whoever will travelling to Nepal.
