A true home away from home 🙏❤️☀️ Stylish Comfy Amazing location Super friendly hosts Tasty food I stayed at Bouddha Mandala Hotel for 2 nights before going for a course at Kopan Monastery and wanted to be close to Bouddha Stupa. Bouddha stupa is right there which is so wonderful to be bathing in the area and the hotel is located in a small and very pretty enclave leading to it. With restaurants and great coffee ! :-) I loved the area. Very vibrant , safe, clean and welcoming The hotel is very very nice . I was so nicely surprised as I walked towards it escorted by a super helpful reception host who waited for me near by the stupa where the taxis have to stop. The rooms was soothing, nicely understated, super clean and with a very comfy bed. The hotel staff are all total gems ❤️ Pure and raw kindness all the way , all of them offering an authentic and genuine sense of hospitality. Which goes such a long way when living away from home and entering a new country. Everyone made me feel really comfortable and at ease right from the moment I arrived. Simply so genuine and accommodating. There is a cafe part of the hotel and the food is really fresh and tasty . The hotel also offers complimentary laundry service which was a huge plus when travelling . Though it is a hotel, it truly felt like a home away from home from the warmth and kindness of everyone around . And so effortlessly helpful. And if I may share .. waking up and seeing Bouddha Stupa majesty revealing itself just a couple of steps away from the hotel entrance is simply priceless . Thank you very very much 🙏 Will definitely be back :-)

everything was perfect. I stayed here with my mum for several nights; the room was amazing with a beautiful view but most important the personal are fabulous :) they took care of us for all the time and they were there for all the requests that we have. I got sick one day and they asked many times how i was and if i needed something; always caring of us <3 beautiful experience! and the neighbourhood is very peaceful and calm!

We received a room that did not match the order. Instead of a room with a terrace/balcony, we were offered a small room with a window in the corridor and meals, which we did not want. Finally, we received a room on the first floor with a covered terrace without a view of the Bouda. Wifi worked all the time but the internet was only available on the first day. The location was great, the room equipment was good, the staff was not interested in us.

Norhing to add. Its not the Hotel Mandala to blame that various constructions in the neighbourhood can be noisy.

Interactions were coated in humility and genuine hospitality. The super individually adjusted service was both heartwarming and beautiful to experience.

We struggled to open and close the room's room, please fix it. it is amazed me a water heater with a gas cylinder found in a toilet. Isn't dangerous to place a cooking cylinder in a bathroom & use it to heat up the water? Window glass was broken and not fix in a bathroom. Only netting is installed in the bathroom's window, there is no privacy when taking bath. please improve it, then it'll be perfect!

We were very satisfied and see that the management and staff are in the process of upgrading the hotel to be even better.

The location of the Hotel Mandala is superb! It is simply THE best location in Kathmandu! The closeness to the stupa and all it has to offer is unmatched! The staff all go out of their way to give you a wonderful stay. They are kind and competent!
