We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NepalBreakfast and dinner options can improve a lot by upgrading the prices higher for buffet options. Most customers seem to go for buffet options.
Great view of Kathmandu valley , hence naturally quite away from the center but it's worth the hassle. The hotel is surrounded by great hills, you get fresh air outside. Great pool swimming as it was very well maintained ! Staffs were great, I don't remember names exactly, except for Shristi Bhattarai, and Salma and Ajay, who were great at reception and spent considerable time to address my queries and were also very professional. I learned that family members below 13 can enjoy free meal which kind of increases the expenses pressure on hotel's side I can imagine that, but it should also not deteriorate the quality of food options.

NetherlandsThe hotel can’t prevent this, but: other guests. A loud tv banging after 22h can happen. Or kids running up and down the non-isolated, echoing hallway. Guests that long to talk loud on the hallway. It can happen. But we also experienced a day were we were practically the only ones in the hotel.
The staff of this hotel is professional and truly knows what hospitality means. If you book the hotel, expect staff that is well trained and providing service at a high level. We felt heard and well treated by the professionals in all segments. The hotel is located in a calm area. It is close to the National Park (there is an entrance and guide fee), the wonderful Budhanilkantha (which you should visit) and the stupa (a climb of around 45 minutes). The hotel is great in all its facets, however it does not represent the true Nepal experience. It is however a comfortable get-away in Nepal.

NepalIt's a standard Holiday Inn experience, but nestled in the northernmost corner of the valley. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all the usual facilities you expect from an international hotel brand are available. Perfect for a quick getaway from the everyday hustle of the city without needing to exit the valley or leave the city.

United Arab EmiratesI suggest to have non-lactose milk for such hotel level. They did not have any alternative milk for lactose intolerant guests.
Big and nice hotel, just 10 minutes from the national park - great location if you would like to make Al some tracking or hiking. The staff is nice and professional.

India2 suggestions 1. Redsign bathroom keep. After sower water all over the place 2. Add local food to the menu and increase the menu list. Because it's quiet outside of the city if the stay is longer, we need more variety of food every day.

BermudaIts a beautiful property away from the down town, so quite hard to get reasonable transportation, they must have a transportation in-house paid facility to have an smooth travel friendly resort. One think to mention during our stay mr. crystal(duty manager! I probably pronounced it wrong) , Ruji, salma, sudip, chef NEVIKA puspa they literally made a positive impact. Spa therapist are amazing too. In breakfast buffet paneer stuffed chilla and egg white and broccoli was loved by wife even though it wasn't included during our 2night stay however surprise for honeymoon couple on request was impactful! Must appreciated everyone! 🥰

United Arab EmiratesFor a 5-star and IHG-branded hotel, this place really needs renovation. It doesn't look or feel like a 5-star hotel. The staff were generally polite, but our first experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. The food wasn’t good, and we were even served raw chicken dumplings, which we only noticed after eating. This kind of mistake is serious and shows the hotel needs to improve, especially since it's an IHG property. the restaurant staff member was so sweet that we couldn’t even be upset. Even with these issues, I would still give a better rating because of some amazing staff. There was one chef (I didn’t catch his name) who really impressed me. I asked for cheese, and even though they said there was no cheese station, he later brought me some anyway. That kind of thoughtful service really means a lot. The rest of the restaurant team were also kind and helpful. They also gave us a free room upgrade and a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it needs some upgrades and better-quality control to meet true 5-star and IHG standards.

PanamaYou just have one reception for 3 buildings and they explaning me just the people that request premium room can stay in the building where is reception and restaurant, totally bad. If I dont ask about cleaning changing rooms they dont. I was far of everything and spa close at 8pm...very bad if you come of tours late night. Recommendation for breakfast continental breakfast not only indians visit. The place is nice and new but it doesnt mean because is new doesnt need maitenence, you have a fridge compltely empty in the rooms and I felt I was apart of services. Need to improve and hv reception in all the lobbys, no one show me or explain to me the timing of breakfast or for spa...better customer service. People at restauranbt do a great job.
The people that work there is very nice, kind and gentle, is a nature area and thats amazing.

IndiaThe only downside is that it's little away ( 30 minutes drive) from the downtown. But that's a small price to pay for a quiet vacation with a some swimming and great food.

MalaysiaWe encountered so many issues during our stay. Staff were very pleasant and did their best to help but managers were nowhere to be found. The TV in our room wasn’t working properly, the sofa bed was broken, the bathtub was dirty, the room service food was delivered lukewarm, the crispy chicken burger was not crispy and was mushy with no flavour, there was only one robe in the room, calls to reception and room service were unanswered and we had to go to the front desk to find someone. The staff we met were courteous and very friendly and really wanted us to have a good stay - but they were powerless to do anything and when we checked out a day earlier than planned we were told to wait an hour and a half until a manager was on site to discuss a discount. Similarly when attempting to fix the TV, we were told that the IT manager would be in the next morning. This is a newly opened hotel charging very high prices in Nepal and surely management should be there to help troubleshoot any teething problems.
