How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is nothing that I can remember.
Stayed here for two nights with a friend. Excellent hospitality from the front desk receptionist Mr Nirmal Timalsina,Miss Dolkar Gurung, Manager Mr. Pushpanath Acharya, including all restaurant staff. Special thanks to Mr. Santosh Adhikari, the director and owner Mr. Binod Kharel for making sure our stay was pleasant. The staff go out of their way to help with our needs, which makes us feel comfortable, safe, and at home!

Our room was a bit noisy because of the metal stains outside the room. Wifi was initially poor but staff sooout the issue and then it was good
Breakfast was ok. More fruit would make it better

I had a very good stay. The room was spacious, and the location was outstanding - close to all the food and entertainment in Thamel. I basically walked everywhere I needed to. The staff, including those at reception, were very helpful. The manager, Puspa, is excellent and went out of his way to help me in terms of recommending places to go and finding me good rates for transportation, etc. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Location great. Tucked away enough to make it nice and quiet while still being right in central Kathmandu. Price reasonable for what was provided. Staff very helpful. Associated travel agent group (Nepal peak adventure - Hom Rana) was fantastic. Really helpful prior to our arrival and once there (floods in KTM meant a late change to airports for Lukla transit). Hom is so well connected and provided us with great advice and help.

Fantastic hotel. They helped us arrange our flights, change them when we were unwell, looked after our bags on multiple occasions, and linked us with an excellent local trekking company, who arranged our Three Passes trek. Great breakfast too, and many lovely garden and balcony areas to relax. Highly recommend to all - you would struggle to find better value for money.

There were stains in the bed sheet and the bathroom curtain has mold. The staff is not always honest with the price. When I did my own research I would find out the price would be much less.
The location was perfect and the staff were really nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good and enough options.

The place have a very pleasant atmosphere, especially thanks to the terraces and garden! The stuff made me feel at home, very hospitable and professional. The room was big and I felt like being in Nepal thanks to the traditional fashion of the building itself

They can have more variation in the restaurant.

Everything was fine, just the bathroom door did not want to close. Not a big issue for us
Perfect location, 5 min from busy Thamel but very quiet. Reception ready to help with everything you need. Airport drop off at 5am wasn't a problem. VERY comfy beds. Breakfast in a lovely garden. Hot water in shower. Good place to stay in Kathmandu

The window and curtains in the bathroom were a bit dirty. Also, I couldn’t pull the down the curtains.
The staff was super friendly. The manager of the hotel was very welcoming. He set up a guided tour around Kathmandu city and it was fantastic. It's definitely a great value hotel.
