There were builders making noise from early in morning. When going out from the hotel i would be ask from staff what room i am and info without given an explanation when i asked the reason of the question.

Perfect location, a lot of monumental things are on the walking distance. Room was spacious, clean, with nice balcony. They offer good continental breakfast and other meals at the open bar and restaurant on the top of the building. Hotel staff are very nice, helpful, kind and friendly. All tourists attractions and tours you can book at the hotel and airport’s transportation as well.

Not a problem of the hotel, but there is a loud club behind them that can remain open long into the wee hours. Bring earplugs if you are super sensitive to that.

This place is all about service and the customer’s comfort. I was lucky to get a great deal on the 8th floor penthouse which was a marvelous room. Great bedding, good A\C, and in room refrigerator. Morning breakfast buffet service was augmented by a great server, Sunil. Evenings at the 7th floor bar were also perfect with food and drinks delivered by Rabin. He makes a Negroni that any bar in NYC would be proud of. All the staff, super attentive and always inquiring about your needs and comfort.

As my room was not a available I was upgraded to the penthouse. It was amazing. Huge, extremely comfortable bed and the best views of Thamel. Breakfast was wonderful and the roof top bar was the best. If you can afford a little extra for the penthouse. Do it!! Staff were also friendly and helpful. Loved my stay. Really recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately - not through fault of the hotel - there is a very noisy bar/restaurant located at the back-side of the hotel which on weekends can go all night (unfortunately we got a weekend) - the hotel management have been on to the owners of the bar to rectify this problem, so hopefully they sort that out and are more respectful about the loud music and not have it playing until 5am in the morning.

Breakfast was really great, lots of yummy choices and freshly made. Also, the staff were all super friendly, a special mention to Robin the great barman at the awesome rooftop bar, and a very special mention about Apsara, the lady on reception who was super friendly and very very helpful. I would stay here again anytime.

Comfortably stay, close to all the main places in Thamel. We ended up staying for a total of 7 nights it was so lovely here. The staff were extremely helpful and were very accommodating with a packed breakfast for when we needed to get up early to start a tour. They also have a small gym in the hotel which features two treadmills, cross trainer and some weights (which i found hard to find in Kathmandu). Food in the restaurant was very tasty. Great complimentary breakfast selection available. Will be recommending to all friends and family for the future.

Very good location. Great views from the bar/splash pool area. Nice bathroom with shower separated from the rest of the toilet by a glass screen which is not so common in Nepal. Great attention by all the staff. Very positive attitude and very helpful. In the minus side. The room was described as soundproof but we could hear the music from nearby bars, the baby crying in the next room and the ring bells of the other rooms
