The location is great within the Thamel busy street with shopping and restaurants walking distance. Easy and convenient hang around there. The staff was very good I left my rings and was returned to me before I left for airport. Really appreciate that.

The next day, I was moved to a single room, which was comfortable, but unfortunately, there was a fan outside that made noise throughout the day. It only stopped during the night, which was the only downside of my stay.

I had a pleasant stay at Aawas Boutique. All the employees were very kind and helpful. The rooms I stayed in were clean. On the first night, I was given a very spacious room as no single rooms were available, which was a nice surprise. They also helped me find my charger, and they kindly kept it at reception until I was able to pick it up. I really appreciated this gesture.

Very nice hotel, I spent here 5 days. It is in situated in the core of Thamel, pretty close to shops. and restaurants. Very friendly staff, supporting and care. I´ve even learnt some Nepalese words from them! 200% reccommendable!

The TV didn’t work when I arrived but they made it work immediately.

The bed is very comfy and high quality. The room is modern, functional and comfortable. Location is very convenient and central to everything. Taxis can stop in front of the hotel, making it easy to check in and leave. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator at the hotel but they will carry your luggage up to the room - I really appreciated that after coming back from 12 days of trekking.

What an excellent hotel! Located right in the center of Thamel, just a few minutes’ walk from everything. The rooms are cozy and the air conditioning works perfectly. They also own a good restaurant, which is at the front of the hotel. The real highlight is the exceptional and warm service from the owners and staff — they’re always ready to help with anything and truly make you feel at home. If you’re coming to Kathmandu, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

The bathroom could do with some updating and a separate shower area to avoid flooding the whole place. The breakfast is very limited - you can choose the type of egg you want and the flavor of canned juice, not much else. They also serve bad instant coffee, which is ridiculous considering they have both restaurant and a coffee shop with coffee machine. Additionally, breakfast theoretically starts at 6, but when we wanted to check out before 7, we found out that we couldn't have it before 6:30 (or even later) and had to skip it.

The only points I have is that the shower was a bit hard to get to work, not all the water came out right and the first shower was quite chilly the second one was warm tho. And I was on the side of the kitchen which has a vent system which makes quite some noise throughout the day, so if you want to sleep or chill in your room during the day I would say the garden side is needed.

The staff was amazing, helpfull and sweet. They called me because I didnt know I had breakfast included, the breakfast was good. The inner garden was really calm and pretty. The room was clean, the pullows were amazing, firm matrass, airconditioning. The restaurant and bar was also amazing. The location was perfect and central, good acces by indrive. At the night it closes but because of the 24/hour guard you can get back in by rining the doorbell.

When we arrived they tried to send us to a different hotel as they had given our room to someone else as we hadn’t arrived yet. The manager then managed to find that our room was available. The only complaint about the room was that the shower was barely warm.

We stayed at the Aawas Boutique Hotel for two nights only and we had no complaints.

The Boutique Hotel was in a great location in the Thamel area. It was surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The hotel was set up with a beautiful courtyard with dining and lounging. Breakfast was included. In the evening they had a group of men, dressed up in native clothing and Nepali music. The room was big enough for our party of 3 adults. We had a queen size bed and a single bed. Lots of windows which faced the courtyard. The bathroom was a good size too. Please remember that there are no shower curtains or glass doors that would help prevent from water spraying anywhere. We received two 1 liter bottled water every day which was a huge plus. No mini fridge in room. I would highly recommend Aawas Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The staff under the management of Raju were very helpful, kind and exceptional in every division they represented. I am an older, solo traveler and they really went out of their way. This hotel is a good family hotel. There is an outside restaurant area in a courtyard. The hotel is part of a well known restaurant - Small deli on the premises with croissants and a variety of bakes. Good coffee.

It can be quite noisy

The hotel is in a very good location in Thamel. The room was a little small but fine for 1 person. Nice hot shower. The staff was helpful as well!
