Only 1 bathroom on the main floor and bedrooms on a different floor (yes, I knew it when I booked it, but it deserves mentioned as this apperas to be a general problem everywhere in Norway). Wifi did not work, even after calling the owner. We had to call and then mess around to get the heating to work in one room. There was parking but the host suggested that we park down by the street -- DOWN the hill, in the pouring rain. There should be better organized and marked parking spots per apartment (There are 3 at the location, sharing parking).

We liked the location and the view. We liked the kitchen, and the comfy beds. It was quiet. And we liked the view (Yes, I´m repeating it!).

The fire alarm was an issue and we had to contact the owner, who provided us with a temporary solution but it seems to be a reoccurring issue. The BBQ on the terrace was missing a grill although it was filled with coal it was all wet since it was raining before our arrival. Would be a good idea to leave it in the sheltered area of the terrace in the future

The apartment is absolutely shattering. I never felt comfortable in it. The problems started with the oven alarm going off for no reason until the owner was contacted to solve the problem. The bathroom had no lighting other than the mirror lighting and it was very dark. There was a large amount of towels in the washing machine, which made us complete washing them and hang them on the clothesline. I cleaned the shower drain myself to drain the water. The dishwasher also had a large amount of dishes in it. The apartment is not worth the money paid.

Would have liked to have instructions on using the washer and dryer. The stovetop sensor kept beeping and needed a fuse reset. Parking was bit challenging on the steep lawn which needed to be mowed.

Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin and looking at the lake across the lake and the mountains.

The house was really cold when we arrived and took a while for the heater to heat up . The fire alarm for the hob went off despite not much smoke .The owner has given an instruction on what we can do should this happened indicating that this is regular occurrence but nothing I did could switch the alarm off . I called the number given but got no reply . The owner did call me back few minutes later all along with the alarm going on and thankfully he guided me on how to switch the alarm off . Lots of the light bulbs are not working. Lights in the kitchen, living room, bedrooms need to be changed/fixed. Worst occurrence is rotten food being left in the fridge , rotten half eaten corn, salad, rotten yoghurt, milk, fruits . The whole fridge stink so bad and we had to throw the food and clean the fridge before we could put our own food stuff in . The owner agreed to refund me some 500 NOK . I have sent the email as instructed but yet to see any outcome . Overall I don’t find the place meets the expectations especially at the rate we paid .

There were a few issues with the facility. The dryer condenser tray was full and the dryer would not work without troubleshooting and emptying the tray. The bathroom door handle was broke and fell off when trying to shut/open the door each time. The cooker top reset button didn’t work, so we had to cook breakfast in the microwave. The oven pulled out when the door was opened. The back deck door was difficult to open as it was stuck by the flooring. There were no paper towels to use. The pillows were pretty flat and could use replacement.

The views were wonderful. The location was great. The lodge was clean. The heated bathroom floor was really nice. Bed was comfortable.

The management company did not send the checkin procedure so we were very confused at check in about what to do. Also, we requested a crib which was not in the unit when we arrived. They eventually solved the problem but it was stressful after a day of driving to try and sort out where our baby was going to sleep. The management could be improved.

The rentals is set in a beautiful location across from a lake and is quite large. Would easily acomodate a bigger group than 2 adults and 1 baby as we were.

Very poorly done renovation. Awkward spaces, and dirty furniture. I stayed here with my partner and three young children, and I would NOT come back. The chairs in the living area were soaked with some type of waste, and the sofa was dingy, the the kitchen smelled terrible, like the spices had seeped into the drywall. The kitchen was also very old. The sauna had mold on the floor and the light bulbs were out. The lawn is overgrown, with candy wrappers on the front porch area, and even a dead bird sitting outside when we arrived, and there was a tremendous amount of clutter all through the house. The upstairs shower was unstable, and moved around when you showered inside of it. It is not safe for a child to shower in that space. I have stayed at many airbnb's in my time, and this was one of the firsts that I was seriously grossed out in. For the monetary investment I made, I was expecting a modern, clean, updated space. That's not what we got.

Beautiful lakeside location, central to the area we were traveling in. Loved that they had a washer and also a dryer. I loved the renovation in the three bedrooms upstairs. They were bright, neat, and beautiful.
