It’s in a very nice area, close to almost everything and easy to go to different places by car. Saw the northern lights right outside and from the window both days I stayed!

The room was quite small for two people but enough for one night stay. Sometimes you had to wait until the kitchen or bathroom was available (but that is expected).

There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Big living room and terrace. Two bathrooms for so many people were great, there was even sauna in one of them.

We have spent most of Norway not speaking to any Norwegians - the hotels are self-service - use a code to get in - find your key - go to your room - you never meet a Norwegian in Norway and this is no exception.

Beautiful view, great location, accessible by bus. The house is traditional and super pretty. With large windows and wooden terrace for grilling or enjoying sun. Easy checkin. Fully equiped kitchen. Lots of common space in the first floor.

The living room and kitchen + the view was amazing. The sleeping room ( I guess we had the smallest one) was super small and the beds were too but super comfy and clean. The bathroom (was a shared one) but was super clean too and big. The location is excellent in my point of view and I would with it would be my house 😁

We loved Villa Ballstad! Since we were the only guests at that time, we got an upgrade to a very nice room with balcony (where we were able to watch Northern Lights from bed!). This was already at the beginning of the stay very attentive from the hosts. The whole living area is really nice, the kitchen is quite big and offers everything we needed. We were also able to use the sauna, which was really nice :) We can just imagine that staying here in summer would be magnifique as well! Thanks a lot for a lovely time!

This is the best place to stay in Lofoten. What a beautiful house, what a view. I could live here. It only got better when I found out about the sauna :D I have to say: I was alone in the house. My experience might have been different if it would have been crowded. But still, there is a lot of space for the guests in the common areas too and the kitchen is fully equipped. I would definitively recommend!

We absolutely love this place, it felt like home, it was beautiful, in great location, right next to the lake, amazing views😊 there was a communal sauna which was such a big plus, great big bathrooms, in the kitchen you had everything you need...just perfect!! Highly recommend!

It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in....ever! I ended up putting the thin mattress onto the floor. Sleeping on the floor was more comfortable than the bed. The walls were thin. I could hear every single sound from everyone else. Someone came in at midnight, and made noise for an hour.  I am not well rested today.
