The room was a bit small and cramped.

I loved that it was right next door to their restaurant and also a very short walk from the bus stop. Good location! And, the property was very charming.

Located in a delightful town, the guest house is charming, full of period pieces reflecting its history. Our room had a beautiful view over rooftops up the fjord. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A kettle in the room would have been even more convenient but the complimentary coffee machine (with hot water) was only one short flight downstairs.

Location of the hotel on the fjord is breathtaking. If you've come for the surroundings, then this is the place for you. The staff could not have been more helpful, recommending activities and local secrets! The main building of the hotel is 18th C old and full of charm. Our room had two arm chairs where we could look out over the water watching the boats go by. We ate in the adjacent 'Gastro Pub' on the evening we stayed and the meals were really good. The menu was varied and would appeal to varied tastes. Breakfast was also excellent, giving us all the energy we needed after a dip in the fjord and an hour's hike up to the Dagsturhytta (Day Trip Cabin) above the town overlooking all around. Look out for a revelation at the local Aurlandsko shoe factory. If you appreciate shoe design, you're in for a surprise. There's an exhibition area and you can see into the workshop area. The local bakery is also a must-visit. Aurland is wonderful.

There are some broken things, leaking shower, etc. but this not ruins the experience much. No luggage room however you are welcome to to leave it in a common area (what didn’t look safe but we did it).

Small room with a veeeery big bathroom. Building is old but is well maintained. Personnel is extremely friendly. In some areas you feel like you are in museum.

The property is difficult to get to without a car - public transport links are scarce and taxis are expensive. A mirror in the bedroom would be a welcome addition!

Comfortable cabin with self catering facilities - incredible views!

Location is excellent, very beautiful court yard, room is small, bath room is good size. For the price that we paid for the hotel, breakfast could be a little better, particularly very limited choice of fruits.

It is quite pricey for what you get, but you cannot top the view. The cabin is basic and a bit "used" and the walls are paper thin. The shower is very small.

You definitely pay for the view, but it is indeed stunning! The cabin is cute but quite small and not at all luxurious. Breakfast is basic but OK. Staff at breakfast and in the pub very friendly.

    We liked everything.

This was a separate house as part of the hotel complex. It has several rooms in it. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. The house has a yard where there is a table with four chairs, so you could sit outside and have a bite or a drink. The location is very nice, right downtown and close to the harbor, the main supermarket, the buses and the beach. The breakfast was very good, indeed. The staff was very friendly and they were able to make us really good hot chocolate upon request.

The terrace is facing an expansive deck belonging to the Apartment complex next door which could be accessed by anyone. Many visitors came on deck throughout the day and posed for pictures. Some brazenly approached our balcony, close enough to peer into our terrace, while we were sitting eating! Norway was having a heat wave, so some came sunbathed in their bikinis! So privacy is missing in these cabins. Wish there were sign up informing the tourists deck is for resident.

great view of the fjord if you choose cabin with views. Breakfast buffet was decent with eggs, and smorgasbord, juice. The room was cozy and seating area and terrace allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous sceneries of Norwegian fjord.
