This is the best choice for accommodation in Alta. For the first moment, we felt like home. - kind, very friendly and full of professional approach by the staff - spacious room & bathroom, cozy decoration - exceptionally clean room / bathroom - tasteful breakfast and unique dinner (many choices for wine) - yard is full of green and flowers and there are benches everywhere to enjoy your coffee under the sun - there is a bar and a bakery within the property - do not miss the activities with the dogs - bio & ethical approach of their activities/facilities Really, I hope to visit this place again - highly recommended !

Our room was on the 1st floor but unfortunately the stairs were narrow and steep. We had some difficulties with the luggage. Also, I found the price a little bit expensive.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything! The location is great - not far from Alta and local attractions, yet you're out in the woods. The food is to die for and the staff are fantastic - so friendly and helpful. We did a 30 day tour of Scandinavia and stayed in 26 different hotels/b&b's. Trasti and Trini was one of the best and was definitely a highlight of our holiday. Loved the huskies!

Unless you ask explicitly, they do not mention how much a meal or sauna is. At the end they charged us more than double what was due, despite me explicitly tell them what activities we did or food we ate. They solved it and reverted the money, but this was not a pleasant experience.

The place is beautiful, the dogs are amazing and the meals were excellent.

What an amazing find! We loved it here, the cabin was not only spacious but also gorgeous and modern and the views over the snowy forest were just magical. The food was amazing, the fine fishing and wine pairing is worth every penny and the breakfast was awesome. I am coeliac, and that can often be a problem … but not here… usually when I ask for a gluten free option .. well it’s not great, but here it was as amazing as my husbands food, and nothing was too much trouble. Also the Alaska bar… great cocktails where you could have a chat before or after dinner and listen to records… we’re going back, and with a big group of friends later on int he year. Stay here - you won’t regret it!

Nothing like seeing the Northern Lights through the large sky windows! Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. The food even better. We spent a great afternoon talking with Mr Trasti about foraging and Norwegian cuisine. He also shared so much personal experience and perspective with us. Made for an even more exceptional experience. We also fell in love with the dogs and the dogsleddjng experience. So much so that we are seriously thinking about going back for a 3 or 5 day trip with them

Johnny and trine were so sweet. He's an amazing chef and the fine dining was such a treat. They really care for the dogs and can tell you a lot about dog sled racing! Room was large and clean and they were nice enough to take me to my next hotel since they were going that way. The alaska bar was decently priced, and johnny was nice enough to keep it open until the last person went to bed. A sweet family and an amazing stay!

The grounds were beautiful, and our cabin was very comfortable and great for enjoying the natural landscape through the huge windows. We loved our dinner and the activities offered on the grounds.
