It doesn't provide shampoo for showers. The kitchen closing time and the staff office hours are both until 9pm, which we feel it is a bit early, everything closes at 10pm would be much better.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, free parking. We have 12 people staying for two separate nights. The staff stayed for extra hour to let us use the dinning room during the evening.

None in particular. While the room was cleaned, it wasn’t “spotlessly” clean, but for a B&B at this price, I have no complaints.

There’s a fairly steep uphill section on the way from the bus terminal to the B&B. I carried a 105L suitcase and a 32L backpack, and it was a bit challenging. Both the male receptionist and the woman working the morning shift were friendly and helpful. When I asked about the town and sightseeing, they kindly provided detailed information. As the property is divided into separate buildings, I’m sharing details of the building where I stayed, which also had the reception. The room was simple, and the shared toilet on the first floor was always clean. The lounge area offered free coffee and water, and cups, cutlery, and a microwave were available for guests to use. There was a sign stating that the area could not be used at night. Hairdryers were not provided in the rooms but could be borrowed from reception. Breakfast was served in a dining area with only three large tables, so it was often shared with other guests. The selection included juice, toasted bread, salad, fruit, and yogurt, which was tasty and satisfying. When I asked for hot water, they kindly filled my personal bottle. Considering the price, the overall experience was excellent and I was very satisfied.

Decor was a little tired … but it’s a hostel. It’s what I expected

You can definitely hear what everyone else is doing/saying in adjacent rooms. Could benefit from curtains that keep the light out.

Code included in the morning, nice to have a shower in the room, comfortable enough bed. Lovely staff.

cleanliness, on day one when I arrived bathroom have some bad smell and shower area lot of hair. Radiator in the room not hot enough, it was ok as just manageable as weather wasn't too harsh luckily.

Hair was left in shower by a guest who clearly didnt see the need to clean up after self, so regular checks could be useful by staff.

The staff was amazing - accommodating and friendly. Lovely breakfast and a fine room. We had a shared toilet and shower with rhe rest of the floor - toilet was very clean which was appreciated. Location was great as we came in my bus boat and ealked up the hill (700m) and we were there. 5 min and we were in the middle of town. Perfect!!!

Excellent location, in the centre of Stavanger and with off- road parking . Very friendly and informative staff, who were very accommodating and went out of their way to help us. Good value buffet breakfast and plenty of hot fresh coffee.

The only negative was that my pillow was a bit lumpy.

I liked the peaceful location of this place and I had a nice room with a view! There was a sink in the room which was useful to have. The staff were very nice and there was a very nice breakfast at a reasonable extra cost. I would definately stay here again.

Outside my room was a ventilator so there was always some background noise. I would ask for a room on the 2nd floor next time.

Very friendly staff, felt safe and welcome. There was coffee and tea all day to chill in the breakfast area. Nice breakfast for a good price! Would recommend a stay here!

The room was boiling hot with no aircon. Found it hard to sleep, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. Rooms are quite small and very dated

The location was good, only a 5 minute downhill walk to the lake. Staff were all very friendly. The room was fine and had a shower in the room, which was great. WiFi and free tea/coffee were appreciated. Recommend.

Friendly, helpful staff. Super breakfast, with a very good buffet choice including fried eggs. Storage of luggage after check-out was much appreciated. Cleanliness of the room, bathroom and toilets and accessible power socket to recharge phone etc. Location in a quiet residential area in close proximity to the town centre, train and bus station. Thank you very much indeed for a most enjoyable stay.
