Facing the street was noisy, particularly because you needed to open the windows to cool the room. I even levels at thresholds poses a challenge for elders

Breakfast. Unfortunately pancakes were terrible and I really did not fancy mackerel in tomato soup with egg salad for breakfast. Only went to breakfast once during our time even though it was included in the room rate.

Everything! Location is incredible walking distance to everything! Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a restaurant just around the corner call Pinocchio which is a 16th century old prison! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND ITS AMAZING! (Make sure you book in advance) Fish markets were good all in all I would recommend this hotel for sure!

Location is perfect to be in walking distance of the Bergen walking sites! Breakfast offered a very nice variety and we could get lattes! All the staff were friendly and helpful. We did have a view of the waterfront from our room and it was lovely.

The only negative for us was that we weren't warned that the room door didn't lock automatically behind us, we happened to check, but it would have been nice to be advised

The room (standard double on the back side of the building, sixth floor) was tiny, without any horizontal surface besides the bed. The room was hot and stuffy, with the only remedy being to open the window, but the very loud nightlife outside kept me awake until after 3am.

The location is perfect for tourists, across the street from the Tourist Information Centre, the fish market, and an airport express bus stop. The Fløyen funicular and Bryggen are a very short walk away and the train station just a bit farther. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the staff was uniformly pleasant, friendly and helpful.

Our room overlooked the back yard, where construction work was going on, and because of that there was a lot of dust and noise, so we couldn't open the window to get fresh air. I assume this is temporary, until the construction work is finished

Wasn't too keen on the attic room on level 8 but was so tired on the first night and it was late, so I didn't get round to asking if I could change it ... Had booked a twin room but ended up with a double bed, was only 3 nights and we only used it as a place to crash out. Would have loved coffee in the room too

The hotel is quite large, so expect crowds at breakfast and waiting times at the elevators. We were a bit disappointed by the pull-out couch as a third bed in the (officially) triple room.

The hotel is very centrally located in Bergen. All services are excellent, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is rich and tasty. The central position makes it all.

The lobby of the hotel leaves a little to be desired - it feels too open to the street & busy. Hotel does not have AC, which wouldn't normally be an issue but we arrived during a heat wave and they had run out of fans to distribute to the rooms. If heat waves happen more frequently due to global warming, they may want to at least invest in a few more fans.

Staff is very nice, room was lovely with a lovely view of the Hanseatic Wharf. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options but not our favorite of the trip (pre-made smoothies were a nice addition though!) Express busses to Ulriken cable car & Bergen Aquarium, as well as to the airport, are very close to the hotel.
