The location was good, 20 mins walk down to Brygge. Parking next door was handy, and having the café and restaurant downstairs and laundry facility on each floor was very helpful. The room was solid, good hotel room. Was had a coffee machine but no coffee or filter, so that was slightly disappointing (even though an odd couple of tea bags were supplied?). This was remedied with coffee downstairs at cafe instead. But the kitchenette has a perfectly great little oven and a cook top, just no freezer in the fridge for anyone that might be looking for one, and no microwave. Otherwise a really pleasant stay, in a clean, comfortable room, with a streamlined check-in process via the app and kiosk.

Shame it didn’t have a nice view but the other facilities were more important and we were only using it as a base.

The kitchen facilities were excellent & included 2 ring hob , large fridge, oven & and even a small dishwasher! Supermarket 5 mins walk up the road and on main bus route to Stavanger which took 5 mins. Also had drying rack and ironing facilities in the room. Basically had everything you needed for self catering.

Clean and spacious Studio apartment, within 20 minutes walk of the harbour. It doesn’t have its own parking, although there is public parking within 30 metres of the building. Staff were very pleasant, and welcoming. We stayed 3 nights with our two dogs (Basenjis) and we found it a good base for our adventures.

In the four days we stayed here, the fire alarm and evacuation happened twice, both at 6:30 in the morning. We need get outside for half a hour. Both times a false alarm.

The fire alarm waked up the guests two days in a row. We had to evacuate the building because someone cooked and did not pay much attention. I suppose that the guest should be instructed better how to use properly the kitchen to avoid fire alarms. The staff did not provide much information about the breakfast the company that runs the restaurant told us that we should have booked in advance. I would have expected the reception to inform us and provide more accurate details.

The room are nice, clean and comfortable They arranged an early check in with little notice, it was appreciated.

I struggled to sleep due to light in the room, the main light never went completely dark, it was a constant glow. That, mixed with a random blue light in the corner, the oven clock and green flashing light on the fire alarm! (Take an eye mask if you like it dark). The electrics were a little odd, one switch seemed to work bathroom light but also turned off bedside sockets

Very clean room, comfortable and a good size! The building was nice and the restaurant/bakery downstairs served great food. Staff were friendly and it wasn’t far to walk to centre. Bus stop just outside too.
