How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We found it little bit expensive on booking.com. If you book it directly, it will be cheaper.

Otherwise it is like normal camping cabin with private cabin and you can park your car at side. The location is okay but it is outside city.

We need to change cabin due to the unsafe sleeping conditions in the first cabin. That's because of a too high bed above ground level without secure conditions with thoughts of falling down from the bed at night or not.
Pretty nice nature in the area. We were pretty satisfied about the place, independent of the sleeping.

There was a leak in one bedroom (covered down) There were no roller blinds in the bedrooms, which is badly needed.

Nicely clean area and cabin. Good reception and even better lunch. Many thanks to owner! He took me from railway station and leave to hiking trail. Great service!

The private bathroom could be a bit bigger, but overall it served it purpose.
The main reason was that that this place was exactly on our route trip. The crew was very helpful, and hytte/building/caravan was nice and cozy.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was just as good 2nd time around, we had a cabin which was clean, comfortable and quiet. The toilet and shower facilities were a short walk away, these were spotlessly clean and modern. The reception had a little shop where you could purchase local produce/gifts. Inside the same building was the restaurant which had a good choice of food. The staff were all very helpful.

Reception wasn't the friendliest. Unfortunately the previous occupant hadn't taken out their rubbish but someone came down and was extremely apologetic about the mistake and took it out for us.
Good standard camping cabin. Cooking facilities in the room and adequate heating. Opportunity to get out for a walk along the river or quiet country road. A nice staff member came down to make sure we were happy with the condition of the cabin.

We had a lucky upgrade to a large cabin with a self-contained toilet and shower, very clean, plenty of room. The dinner menu was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We had high hopes for this accommodation, but unfortunately, our experience was far from comfortable. The biggest issue was the temperature—when we arrived, it was freezing cold inside (2°C!). The electric heaters placed around the house simply did not have enough capacity to heat the space properly, and even after hours of trying, the temperature barely reached 10°C. We had to gather multiple heaters in the kitchen just to make one small area livable. When we raised the issue with the host, the only response we got was, “Sorry, the cleaner shouldn’t have turned off the heating.” No real solution was offered, leaving us to deal with the extreme cold ourselves. On top of that, there were several other issues: • The WiFi does not work (connected, but no internet). • The extractor hood makes noise but doesn’t actually extract anything. • Everything in the house is old and poorly maintained. Missing door handles, broken cabinet doors, stuck drawers, holes in the ceiling—you name it. Conclusion: This place is only suitable in warm weather and only for people who can overlook all the flaws in favor of its “charm.” Otherwise, it’s simply not worth it.
