How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bathroom, while otherwise clean, had an unpleasant sewer smell. The evening meal that's included in the price was a bit sad for a vegetarian (to be fair, I didn't ask if they could provide something, just stuck to the options that I could eat, which was wilted salad and waffles).
Location may not be the most scenic (facing a factory), but it's perfect for a stopover when driving the E6. Room was modern, clearly recently refurbished, and very clean (which I tend to be quite picky about). Friendly staff. I also really appreciated the free charging for my electric car.

The hotel has basic facilities and is located right next to a very busy road (the Arctic Highway). The room is therefore a little noisy at night.
We considered the hotel as a place to stay for one night while traveling from northern to southern Norway. As a very good motel, it certainly served its purpose well. However, don't expect hotel standards—the rooms are simple and the furnishings a little worn. A huge plus, especially for travelers like us, was the dinner included in the price of accommodation. We expected a simple buffet, but were surprised by burgers, waffles, and lots of other options. Breakfast was also good.

Nobody answer me on my request, I have paid for dinner buffet but they don't have write time when it is finish so I didn't eat. Breakfast was good.

No elevator.
Nice family hotel well located on main roads. Outstanding welcoming and service. Comfortable and very clean rooms. Free included buffet dinner (with unique choice of main course) is appreciated, since restaurants are rare in the surroundings. Plenty of parking spaces in the back.

The dinner was served at 7pm which is a little late for us.
Good parking.overlooked a road but withstand proofing very little noise.dinner was fine ,hot and cold choices.dessert was waffles and jam.wine and beer was cheap.s5aff were lovely.

Not a complaint, just a comment: As you drive up to the hotel it looks a little worn, however it has had quite a lot of interior reno, so don't let the outside put you off.
Dinner was included - not fancy but very tasty. Nice dessert. Breakfast was good, too. I believe we were in a renovated room; it was large with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Good map provided so that we could easily walk into the old town.

Nothing to complain about
Better on the inside than you would expect from the outside. Very nicely appointed room with nice facilities. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good and so convenient if you dont want to go out. Staff were very helpful. Plenty of on site parking.

We arrived completely soaked riding through rain all afternoon and we were greeted warmly, no frowns, and they offered we could put our wet riding gear in a cellar room to dry. Motorcycle riders will appreciate this :-) We had received a message with our booking that a buffet dinner was included in the price and that was very convenient as it was still raining in the evening. Buffet breakfast was nice. Parking in the front and the back of the hotel.

The location is by a railway line, we were not disturbed by noise.

It's a bit pricy, and the main road led right past the hotel. Was a bit noisy at times.
I slept here because the originally booked accommodation didn't work out. It was no problem to book and use the room within minutes. The room was clean and good equipped, and the breakfast was great. The view from the window towards the mountains was great.
