Beautiful location with a fabulous walk from the hotel. Board walk around two small lakes and views from a hill. This was a highlight. View from our room was lovely. Staff were delightful. Relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. Breakfast plentiful but hot choices were warm which was a shame. Dinner was good and drinks menu very good. Parking was ideal

Single room very very small, and window doesn't open. Strangely, foot towel/carpet is not provided in bathroom, only face and bath towels. Parking for hotel guests rather far from the hotel building itself. As others mentioned, bed is a bit too soft but this is a matter of personal preference.

Best location for hiking in Senja - most of must-do hikes within 30 min from the hotel. Main building has an elevator at least to 2nd floor. Good restaurant on site - very handy for breakfasts and dinners. Plenty of information about the island on reception incl. excellent illustrated hiking guidebook (in Norvegian). Very welcoming and helpful staff. Souvenir shop at reception selling also basic necessities. Great wi-fi.

Wonderful stay! We were able to reserve a hot tub for the 4 of us for a very reasonable rate. There is also a spot to jump in the water during the hot tub rental! Very nice restaurant on site and bar. Room was roomy and comfortable

I would just recommend to add some equipment in the kitchen of the cabin.

The position of the cabin is great and the staff is really welcoming and helpful, they gave us lots of nice suggestion! The cabin was cozy after a day of hiking! The restaurant is also good and I recommend it! The free parking included is a plus!

Absolutely wonderful place. Great restaurant, clean and well-maintained hotel. Friendly staff. The only downside is falling asleep can be difficult, as it’s hard to take your eyes off the beautiful view outside the window :-)

My wife and I stayed there two nights in July, 2025. It's a quiet and beautiful hotel, probably the only hotel in this village. We are happy that we can stay in such a beautiful and comfortable hotel in this remote and quiet place. Highly recommend to those people who will go to the north of Senja.

The room was quite small but that’s what we booked so no surprise. If you have a lot if luggage or want some space then book a bigger room.

Fabulous hotel right on the water. We booked a very small bunk room so it was a bit tight with luggage but it was functional. The beds were comfortable and bathroom good plus a kettle was a bonus. We had a nice view across the water. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very friendly staff.

What a gem. You won't come across it by accident, but we'll worth the trip to get there. The single room is small, but not cramped. The bathroom is ideal, spotlessly clean. The breakfast is brilliant, lots of choice and plenty of it. Location is great, off the beaten track but better for it.
