No reception at all, asked twice via emails n booking.com message to send me code for entry, no reply n did not tell us room number either as we booked for 4 rooms

The key less check in. I couldn't get it to work on my phone, thankfully my travel partner did. We came across several other people who could not get it to work and had to lug all their luggage through town to the other hotel in the pouring rain to get a key. Also bathroom door didn't lock.

The free wifi was very poor and kept dis-connecting every few minutes - it wouldn't be suitable for work but was ok to use it for the door lock app.

The room was a good price and located in the centre of Bergen so it was easy to get around.

There is a rooftop tiki bar 2 floors down right out the window. They start playing loud techno music at about midnight and it shuts down at 3am. Lots of people yelling over the music, seems like they are having a good time. Impossible to sleep though if that’s what you’re after. The room are pretty stuffy and there isn’t a fan. You can open the windows until the bar is open, then it’s like you’re right there partying with everyone. It’s in a mall, which is kinda weird, self check in worked fine for us, but we were always worried if our phone died we’d be locked out. Saw many other people sitting in the halls trying to figure out how self check in and key worked. Only one key for the room, we didn’t each get one.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Walking distance to everything. Very convenient.

- Staff being located two blocks away in a different hotel makes for a frustrating experience. Within 3 nights I made 6 trips over. 3 of which were for the same problem. My TV remote didn't work, to which the solution was to provide a whole new room, however with the strange key app for the old room and physical keys from reception for the new one I was alternatingly locked out of new rooms and old rooms. I was also locked out of the entire building on one occasion as I hadn't been informed there was a door code to get in., so another trip to find out how to get in. All would have been solved far easier if they at least installed phones to reception within the rooms if they don't want to have an actual person on site. - Kettle provided in the room along with an empty paper cup. I did not use these as buying my own coffee and tea etc to use in the paper cup seems silly. Might as well just buy a coffee in a coffee shop and have them make it for me too.

- Great location except for if you have a room facing away from the street on the nights the club below is active. - Bathroom and bedding seemed clean. - The staff from the reception over at the other hotel did their best to assist with several problems I experienced.

Self checkin with mobile is a disaster. Several couples asked for help each of the 4 days we stayed, all unhappy. Staff at sister hotel were helpful but the point is, they are not there. How is this hotel rated 3 star with no service onsite?. Expect this kind of do it yourself checkin with a cheap hostel perhaps. Entry ares are shared with other businesses and are tatty and dirty.

Great location. A few minutes walk to fish market, key bus stops right opposite and restaurants closeby. Comfortable bed, good size double, windows that open and plenty of light.

Rate this hotel poorly for access. It was self-checkin that didn't work for us or three other guests who were trying to get the pass-code to work. Had to go to the main hotel down the street to get physical key cards. However, the next morning the young male receptionist at the main hotel was very helpful with directions and ordering a taxi.

The automated check in / check out system is not great. Some of us didn’t get the necessary codes/links and even the ones who did, spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out the whole thing

Location is excellent, close to many attractions. Transport - rail, bus and light rail is very close. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Good supermarket in the same building.

No AC, was really hot in the room since we had perfect weather with about 24C outisde. TV didnt work either, no channels and the pairing didnt work (not that it was too big of a deal since we werent at the hotel so much).

The app for the room key was not working and to lug big luggages to checkin in the sister property was not good. And to top it off there was no phone in the hotel. If there was an emergency it will be catastrophic.

The rooms were very hip and tastefully furnished. Location was good.

Little room for luggage. Difficult to find entrance as it is different to that shown on Apple maps. Also took a little while to work out how to use mobile keys.
