The curtains in our cabin (no14) did not fully close so let in the sun at 3am which was not so good. The bathroom did not have sufficient hanging space for our things, an additional towel rail would be very helpful. The towels were also a little worn. Most annoying though was the very long wait for food to be served at the evening meal in the restaurant - we waited for just over an hour on our first night.

The location was excellent. Although we could not get the whole snow experience (we went in summer) but still had an enjoyable stay. We did the hike behind the resort by ourselves and found it a good hours exercise. The trail was marked but it was a little tricky to negotiate in parts, watch out for mosquitoes! We really loved the huskies, they were so very happy and clearly well looked after. The Sami experience was very informative and interesting, feeding the reindeer was fun.

What an amazing and unique place and experience! I've heard about the Snowhotel before but nothing could prepare me for what a wonderful experience it actually is . Decided to visit Kirkenes after a trip to the North Cape. Little did I know that the Snowhotel would become the highlight of my entire trip. And the magical North Cape experience, the chill atmosphere in Tromsø, and picturesque Lofoten are truly hard to beat. Incredibly friendly and super helpful staff. Lots of nice guests in great spirits. The restaurant offers exquisite food. One gets to even experience reindeer 🦌 and huskies 🐺 kept on location. The cabin is beautiful and luxuriously equipped. And then there is the unique Snow Hotel itself. Something that can't be described in words easily and truly needs to be experienced.

Not impressed with the cost to walk a dog for 1 hour with a guide who was a nice fellow, who barbequed two reindeer hot dogs for us at total cost of $450.00CDN. Usually I get paid to walk a dog.

The expectations were high, but we were not dissapointed! What a gem. Very friendly staff. Very nice food. Very cosy cabins with comfortable beds. Our luggage was taken care of on arrival and departure. We were picked up in Kirkenes harbour and a taxi was arranged for us to go to the airport on departure. We were fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights which was the icing on the cake. All in all we had a perfect stay!

Showhotel Kirkenes is the BEST place to stay if you are in Kirkenes - it is total new and you a warm welcome and very nice staff in the restaurant. you will get arctic Nature and show architecture in world class - The Cabins are fantastic and we loved it. We also tried to sleep 1 night in the Showhotel and it was a cold but fun experience. The breakfast and the lical 3 course dinner is also included - it is unique and warm experience. Try also the icebar in the evening :) This has been a truly winter attraction for us and not to forget the 170 husky dogs which is a nice to Go around Them.

It was quite expensive for what it was overall. We had our meals included in our room rate as you don't have many choices. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. Service was excellent and the staff were super. The roads were very slippery even when gritted. You need the spikes the Norwegians put on their shoes

We stayed in a cabin which was very nice but the armchairs were not as pictured and not very comfortable and this was the main sitting area. The bathroom does not have a window so you are reliant on an extractor fan and there was a strange smell in the cabin and lingered for the stay. We enjoyed the Husky ride but it was incredibly expensive for 40 mins ( I have done this before for much less and longer rides ) £360 for 2 people sharing one sled.

I loved it, wasn’t expecting to originally book into the ice rooms as I just went with the cheaper accommodation available. I booked a nights accommodation with breakfast, I wasn’t expecting transport from hotel in Kirkenes and back to cruise terminal. Nor an a La carte 3 course meal for dinner. It was a great experience, took in what we were shown at the dinner of what to do for a warm night of sleep. Tip make sure you get a sleeping bag with a zipper not Velcros as I heard a lady at breakfast saying that her velcros kept coming undone. I had a really warm night of sleep. The scenery was postcard worthy. I would stay here again. Sorry unable to upload photos, app isn’t closes out when I try.

It is amazing 🤩. Hotel has everything for any traveler who love nature 💕. Their army of more than hundred Siberian Huskies are the most beautiful attraction of the hotel . Loved my stay and look forward to visit again 💕

The actual "snow hotel" experience wasn't as great as I expected, partly because you hang around in the lounge until bedtime. It was fun; one night is all you need.

The cabin was lovely: plenty of room and a nice view. Breakfast and dinner were included (unexpected) and the food was great.
