The parking space is at the other side of the building. So, if you have lots of stuff to take with you (like we do), it's challenging. Unless you briefly park your car in front of the entrance. :)

We thought that we had a balcony but that was not the case. Also we were missing information that we needed to check in at the Ustedalen Hotel, everything were just locked at Geilo Gaarden

It was a very big room, plenty of space for two persons.

No wardrobes or drawers, but I only stayed two nights so not a problem with the hanging rail in the hall. Immediately next to the road, but very good view of the hills and quiet due to insulated windows and little traffic (visited in early June when the resort was quiet). Beware that the keys have to be collected from the hotel along the road and not the adjacent hotel.

The apartment was really nice, clean, light , spacious living/kitchen room and bathroom. 10 min walk from the center (although longer walk to collect the keys). The receptionist was very helpful. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There was never enough hot water for 5 of us to have a shower. There was nowhere to unpack to (no clothes storage).

The shared living areas in the apartment were spacious and comfortable. The sauna was a nice bonus.

Very nice apatment. Clean, quiet, located right next to skibuss station. The kitchen was equiped with everything needed. Very nice personell at the reception. Nice atmosfære at the bar/restaurant.

Unit 19 had a very cramped bedroom, with bed against the wall and limited room between the cupboard.

There is no breakfast at the Geilo Gaardens. A small unit but overall good for a short stay. Good location for the ski bus. View to the ski slopes.

We used the house for the third time, due to its convenient location and good price. It offers Simple, clean flats with comfortable beds almost and all we needed.

No reception so you have to trek up a hill with your luggage to a hotel to collect your key. Also, paying extra for towels and bedding is a bit excessive considering the price and we had to make the beds ourselves too even after paying extra!

No wifi! We went on a slow day for them so they switched us to their main hotel (Ustedalen), which we appreciated.

The space was modern and clean, comfortable for our group of 3. The free ski bus picks up right outside and it's not a far walk from the train station. We got a beautiful view of the mountains, too! They had all the amenities we needed, besides for a hair dryer. Katerina at the front desk was helpful with trying to find something for us to do (other than skiing). Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The shower door was broken and just placed inside the shower. We had to take it out, so the floor got wet whenever someone showered. But it wasn't too bad. I also wish the kitchen was a bit better equipped. Everything you absolutely need was there, but things like salt/pepper shakers, maybe a knife sharpener and a meat thermometer would have classed up the kitchen experience a bit.

Very spacious and great value if you fill all the beds! You can walk up to the lift in ski boots, and ski all the way down again afterwards. It is about a 10-12min walk to the hotel you check into, but only a minutes drive.

Apartment was huge and clean. Kitchen well equipped, including dishwasher. Free parking spaces right infront of the apartment. Just a few meters to the "centrum" (where the supermarkets for example are). Friendly staff.

Do not recommend if you don’t have a car. I booked this place because of its close vicinity to the train station (8 minutes walk), however the key has to be picked up at the reception which was 15 minutes walk to the other direction of the train station and it has to be return at the same place again. We were told we got upgraded to a room which is near the reception when we collected the key but one of the family member was waiting at the train station with all of the luggage. so the options were: 1. we take the upgrade, walk 15 minutes back to the train station and walk 15 minutes to the room, and walk 15 minutes to the station on the day of checkout, or 2. Walk 15 minutes back to the train station + 8 minutes to the original room, then walk 15 minutes + 8 minutes on the day of checkout, then 15 minutes to the station to catch the train. We took option 1.

Reception was not located in the same place as the apartment. Pool was not free to use. Apartment did not have wifi. There was no hairdryer.

Nice stop on the route between Stavanger and Oslo. Close to the centre of Geilo. Building belongs to a hotel nearby where you check in.
