How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Food ok at the restaurant.
Convenient location for glacier walk, kayaking and excellent swimming pool nearby at Lustrabadet.A local cat was lovely.

The rooms were hard to cool down, was unseasonably warm and one window opened only.

Location was perfect for heading over sonjefellet next morning. Staff were friendly and food in restaurant was great and served quickly. We had a family room which is effectively adjoining rooms so 2 showers and 2 bathrooms

Was quite hard to find after check in...as the cottages are far away from reception. Indications and signs were not so Clear.
The cottage was superb and spacious with all facilities and a perfect kitchen and a wonderful terrace with view on the mountain valley. All furniture made by light wood looks to be the best accomodation of all my whole journey in Norway.! Private parking beside the cottage. Well recommended!!!

Would have been nice to have a bath mat to put down on the bathroom floor, as when you shower the whole bathroom floor gets wet.
The staff were very friendly, and the facility was clean and nice. We had a good pizza for dinner in their restaurant, and enjoyed breakfast the next morning.

Bedrooms and bathroom in the cottage were dark and outdated. Pillows, blankets and mattresses were old and looked pretty bad but I think they are washed. The beds were very basic, just a thin foam mattress on wooden planks. I couldn’t sleep on that due to starting to feel back pain, so I had to grab a second mattress from another bed and sleep on 2.
Cozy living area, nice views, playground for kids, good restaurant. Kids loved the place, the cottage and opportunity to just run around in the grass and to the playground

The bathroom could use a bath mat
Lovely cabin with private bathroom and very comfy couch ! In about 7 min walking there is the hotel restaurant where you can have breakfast and dinner

No elevator to the second floor.
Convenient place to stay between Flam and Geiranger with easy parking and nice rooms. Restaurant was very nice.

Small apartment, we paid for linens but didn’t get for all beds so you have to sleep next to a very dirty mattress without linens, even if yours has them.
Good kitchen, had everything we needed. Worth the value we paid

Nothing in particular. Generally it needs some renovation.
All was on acceptable level. Even though it requires some renovation, but it is still worth to stop there , if you plan to visit glacier and go by road 55 to Lom, which is amazing.

Had to drive by car between the cabin and the hotel, where the breakfast was served. The bathroom of the cabin was a little outdated.
Good breakfast Served pizza until 22h wich was good for us, since we arrived very late. Nice staff.

Value for price paid is good, condition of facility still OK, however, some need for renovation is becoming obvious here and there. Shower curtian would not be too luxerious even for a campgroud cabin ... on the other hand the entire bathroom was clean after each shower.
Good starting point for glacier trips, convenient shopping facilities in walking distance. Nice and convenient place ... preferably for 2 people - we were 3 hence the main room was a bit busy.
