How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Semi detached. I hadn’t realised this. You could hear everything from next door. Would have liked a microwave and storage for clothes.

A bit overpriced compared to other properties close by.. However, the property deserves it.!
A very nice house set against the stunning backdrop of the mountains, offering beautiful views throughout the day. The kitchen was well-maintained and fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, making it easy to cooks and feel at home.. A peaceful and scenic place- Perfect for a relaxing stay!!

We loved our stay in this very cosy wood cabin. It contains everything you expect and more, making really good use of limited space. The landlady has thought of everything. We arrived later than check in time due to problem with the car but it was not a problem and were warmly welcomed. Easy access by car to Geiranger and Dalsnibba. Thank you for a great stay!

There was no body wash in the shower and no tea bags. These things are not expensive at all but add a lot of value.
Location is calm and stay was great. You can enjoy the nature. A hotel and grocery store is just few minutes drive away.

The Feriehus is great! It has all you need! It is clean, kitchen and bathrooms are fully furnished with all you need and the staff is great and friendly! It has been a great discovery! Highly recommended!

The street to reach the place is a dirt road not very easy if you have a street motorbike.
Very peaceful place in the middle of nature. The apartment had all the amenities to cook. Nice bathroom. Helpful and kind host.

Bathroom is really small but does the trick not good for a large person. suggestion- as it’s a holiday home some basic essentials would be nice like packet or sugar, some teabags, coffee, some milk etc. as a holiday let owner myself I think those things are important if the home comes with the kitchen. Rest all good.

Nothing serious but I got told we have a microwave in the kitchen but there wasn’t any when we arrived. Being in norway so many time. Due to geographical settings Sometime it’s hard to get essential like milk,tea sugar, coffee, specifically if the guest is arriving late and new to the place. I also think mostly guest kind of expect to have those essential. It would be nice to leave small container of milk, some sugar,tea and coffee.(suggestions) There was No tinfoil or baking papers in the kitchen either which is also kind of essential as well.

Everything was great but one small thing that could be better is that the lighting over the dining table could be brighter.
Beautiful, quiet, cosy cabin. Very friendly and helpful host. The cabin had everything you could possibly need and was clean and warm. Our favourite place we’ve stayed in Norway so far.

Like everywhere in Norway, no decent curtains to keep the early daylight out
The holiday house has all you need for a short stay to explore the surroundings. Small kitchen, decent bed, own bathroom with warm water, terrace to sit outside, WiFi.

Insufficient phonic insulation with adjoining apartment.
Linen included. Well equiped for cooking. Tourism information for the hike nearby. The host advise us that the ferry was not working due to works at the harbour. We recommend.

The cottage was very cozy and had all we needed. We could even use the property’s washing machine and the dryer. Very friendly owner. In each cabine there was a book with hiking tours in the area, which was great. Location is excellent with proximity to Geiranger but actually we enjoyed much more hikes in the vicinity such as Blåhornet, Herdalen, Tafjord and the drive to Trollstigen. Use of the ferry to Linge and bowling at Kula (Valldal) was a nice family activity.

Great traditional 2 bedroom cottage. Loved it! Great base for exploring surrounding areas, We ended up taking ferry to the other side on 2 days. There are a lot of places to see!
