We where surprised to find out all hotel rooms are pet friendly as opposed to specific rooms - especially if you suffer any pet allergies!

The check in screens are very simple & easy to use & our room was modern & comfortable. The roof terraces are an added bonus as is the shared kitchen & laundry. The location was at the top of the town with lots of Amenities within easy walking distance.

The toilet is very awkward because if you sit on it the sink is placed in a way that it eats into your space no complaints otherwise

Everything is selfservice so there is no restaurant, bar or those things. Not a big deal as the city is close which offers these facilities in abundance. If you are looking for luxury this is not your hotel

Simple yet clean self service hotel close to the city center and the harbour. We needed a place to stay as we had an early ferry the next morning. City center is walking distance. The rooms were basic but clean and comfy and had a big terrace overlooking the harbour. Everything is selfservice and they also had an area with a table tennis table.

The only issue was that the bathroom was too small and the toilet was set almost under the wash basin. However, the space of the room was not that small. Except of this, our staying was really good!

I like the minimal design and the fact that in the citybox, we can use the kitchen on the group floor to prepare our meals! Plus, they offer free tea!

I can recommend this hotel. Parking garage in basement made everything easier. Kebab shack on the other side of the street, what more can a man ask for? 😍

They had good signs leading to the room, but the corridors looked alike, so we every time ended up taking a detour going to the elevators. Also be aware they have some pretty active traffic wardens in the street of the hotel, so there is a substantial risk of a fine if you park or maybe just stop for a moment nearby the hotel.

Check-in and out is self-service, so I cannot commend on the staff, but it was easy to use and worked fine. You had to pay for parking, but they had a direct passage from the parking garage to the elevators - very convenient. The room was fairly small, a box as the name suggest, but big enough for us. It was clean, had what is needed in a hotel room, and there was a guest kitchen on the ground floor (We did not use it, so I cannot comment on it). Highly convenient, there was a supermarket in the ground floor in the same building, with some pre-made cold courses.

The laundry service needed a phone number to use the payment system - a lot of travellers can't access their phone number while overseas :)

Fantastic experience - the rooms are beautifully finished, stylish and comfortable. Of course the space is small but so well done! I just loved it. Great atmosphere and shared facilities downstairs.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Check-in was quick and efficient. The family room was very spacious and clean, with a large shower as well. Only 5 minutes from the harbour to/from Denmark.

If I really have to mention something, then the room could have been a tiny bit bigger to more comfortably store my stuff without standing in the way.

Friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in, very modern and clean facilities. A laundromat is available and works very well. And all.of this at affordable prices for Norwegian averages. Super!

Good price, central location in Kristiansand, right at the end of the main street with cafe's, bars and restaurants. You can park below the hotel and take the elevator right up to the reception.
