One of the two evenings we ate in the hotel and had, indeed, a fine meal of asparagus and fish cakes with a tangy salsa for starters, fish of the day and fish and chips for mains and a shared dessert of rhubarb creme-brulee, chosen primarily because it was a combination we had never seen before. All well cooked, nicely presented and delicious.”
