The stairs can be difficult for seniors (we were warned).

Our stay was very comfortable and the apartment was clean on arrival, although at times we noticed some of the furniture got a little musty. Not a fault of the owner - more likely the constant rain and drizzle not allowing us to air out the apartment sufficiently.

The apartment is spacious for couples, with a nice balcony/deck, tea & coffee facilities, a nice assortment of refreshments and pleasant welcoming gifts. Communication with the owner Anne is friendly and smooth, and the apartment is in a quiet suburb close to public transport. The apartment is furnished delicately, and has a very warm, homely feel. It has a nice outlook over the adjoining buildings and skyline, and there was no noise from neighbours.

Location was very good easily accessible and in a quiet suburb. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Anna was very good keeping in touch with us with "whats app" re arrival times etc. and was very helpful. Would have loved better weather to have been able to enjoy the lovely terrace. Loved the quaintness of the room.

VERY comfy bed, lovely decor, great having the outdoor space. Lovely views, transport links only a few minutes away. We loved everything about our stay. Anne was so accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again next time we're in Amsterdam.

The apartment was lovely and well situated, easily connected to the city centre. Very clean. Anne was lovely and very helpful, really accommodating and made a lot of effort to support us during our stay. The apartment was cosy and the balcony area was a nice spot to relax on after a long day of exploring the city. Would happily stay again.

Bed/ mattress were way too soft for us but this is a very personal taste

Nice appartement and a very nice host with a good location in Amsterdam. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to use the beautiful terrasse. The steep stairs are typical for Amsterdam and were no problem for us, but if you are handicapped or have a lot of luggage this might be a challenge.

Didnt like the night life it was back streets and we didnt go out after 5pm as we where being harrassed by men which wasnt nice we dont have that where we live !

Unfortunately they were renovating the roofs in the area so we didn’t get the be fit of the roof terrace, but Anne kindly got the workers to move some material so we could at least get out there. The steps were a challenge, but we were duly warned about that

Would of preferred firmer pillows, but that is my preference. Missing an iron, but there is places to hang clothing out to get rid of creases. Possible a little hair freshener in bathroom.

Anne welcomed us to her B&B and shown us around - great hospitality. Free coffee and tea available, amoungest other things. Other drinks available for only a small charge - did say we were able to add own stuff to fridge. A lovely, quaint environment. Nicely decorated and clean. It was easy to get transport to Central Amsterdam, including easy routes back during the night. Shower pressure was good and, shower head able to be released off the stand. - hairdryer was reasonable too. Not like big chain hairdryers that take a long time to dry thick, long hair. Big comfortable, memory foam mattress with thick duvet. Large windows, with blackout curtains, and access to roof top, which I'm sure would be lovely during the warmer months. Easy enough to check out, and good communication with Anne.

The shower was not very powerful but it did not spoil our visit.

The roof terrace was brilliant. The bed was super comfortable and it was all very clean.

Stunning location in a quiet and lovely part of the city. Anne was a kind host, treating us very well despite the fact that we were only in town for a couple of days. She was very communicative and accommodating. The room has gorgeous light and was very comfortable.

It's an authentic amsterdam house with a narrow staircase, but that's to be expected :)

The room was very cozy and quirky with a romantic vibe. Anne was very helpful and was available all the time for questions! We could tell that the accommodation is maintained with a lot of effort and attention to detail. It was a unique place to stay for sure.

If you want amsterdam, book this hotel, because its very magic place. Clean and comfortable. Anne was very kind and helpfull. Groceries and city transport is very close. Just amazing place to stay. I Hope we were good guests 🙂

It’s a little cramped. No kitchen. 3 flights steep stairs, which you are given fair warning about.

Close to my Uncle. Good public transport close by. Anne is very helpful.
