Sound proofing was non existent and the bathroom was quite far away from the room I was a bit apprehensive about the bricks on the parking lot and it was a bit of a challenge to park on a hill to close the gate. Neither are deal breakers but it was annoying.

It was a very cute hut in a beautiful area, the pigs were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I didn't see any of the people working there but I wanted to relax and not be bothered so I liked that a lot.

The shower was intermittently cold, probably an issue with the water heater. The kitchen area seemed like it could do with a bit of a clean.

Location is very peaceful, lots of animals and wildlife. Nice outdoor seating area. Bed was clean and the inside of the sleeping area clean and tidy.

It doesnt have heating and the insulation is not too strong, in colder weathers it could get a bit cold.

One needs to be prepared to go really basic, we did not give it enough thought before arriving. Another tip is to check with the accommodation if you arrive after office hours if you have all the necessary info - we did not get the code to open small locker to get the key before arriving, so had to call the owner pretty late at night, he answered luckily and was not annoyed at all, which was great.

The place is unique - you basically camp in a small very basic little house on the premises of a wine orchard: surrounded by nature, beauty, tranquility. There was a super hospitable cat who greeted us and the famous pigs who were also adorable. All facilities are basic, but available and working and if you are prepared - they are perfect.

We knew, that there won't be any outlets for electricity, only 5V to charge the phones. However, we did not expect that if we turn on the light for 10 minutes during the night, that will completely drain the battery. We also expected that in the toilets and bathroom there will be some spiders, but the amount of them was just way too uncomfortable. Mosquito net on the windows and keeping the doors closed would solve this issue in my opinion.

The place was really nice and calm, the room was what we expected it to be.

There was no staff available that afternoon so the shop was closed. To drink some wine in the wine-yard, we had to bike back to a grocery store (10 km total) for a bottle of wine. Would have been nice it was told ahead.

USB sockets didn't work so we couldn't charge anything, it said the battery wasn't connected?! We had power banks so was fine. Only things i would suggest as changes is maybe to have a cabin like the kitchen one where you could charge items and maybe have some Wi-Fi in there also. Also maybe another set of toilets just so it isn't so many people sharing at once. But that's only if its busy.

Adorable little cabins in the vineyard. Really cosy space and nice set up with a nice amount of privacy from your neighbours if you want to sit outside. Toilets were clean and nice and the shower cabin and kitchen were both great. It was well communicated what was available in the spaces. Great space would definitely want to stay again. Also loved the pigs wandering around.

Location was great for what we wanted, travelling with dogs so it offered the outdoor space suited for this. Needed to be close to Rotterdam.

It is like camping but sleeping in a garden shed. As long as you expect this it, is OK. It is work-in-progress and everything is rough but mostly functional. It seems expensive for what it is but everything in the region is more expensive. I was looking forward to the welcome bottle of wine from the vineyard that many reviews mentioned, but we did not receive one.

Peace and quiet in amongst the grape vines and fruit trees, very different from the usual Dutch scrimmage. My cabin was comfortable, the breakfast - served in a leafy arbour - was very good and the resident pigs are well behaved and amusing (but aren't cooperative about being photographed) In two months of cycling this was the oddest place I stayed and is certainly on my list for a return.

Since we had prior information about the accommodation, we can say that there were no surprises, everything was known and suitable for us. The pigs walking around the houses were more of a joy than a nuisance. The pigs were polite and when asked to leave, they listened. The reception was beyond expectations, the host was just leaving, but still came back and we got a bottle of local wine. He also allowed us to park at the cottage.
