Not very well connected to public transport, the nearest bus stop is 30 minutes away by foot.

We can definitely recommend adding breakfast to your stay. The amount and quality of food one gets for the price is 100% worth it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed here for one night, prior to a triathlon race. it's very charming, in a part of The Netherlands you won't come that often. It's situated next to water, charming houses and very very quiet. Great reception, super friendly staff and the went the extra mile for to make me comfortable and prepare appropriate food for me. Lovely stay here, glad I did this.

Beautiful locality, great restaurant, very friendly and nice staffs. The room furnishings are quite basic, but the room and bathroom are perfectly clean. Overall, we were very happy in the accommodation and would not hesitate to come again.

The TV was way to small, batteries of the remote were empty, Wifi didnt work, the sour was broken so an awfull smell. The staff was not friendly and didnt offer a proper solution or maybe a voucher or partly refund..

It’s a nice and cute building, from the outside it looks old but very well maintained. The inside is the same, which is always a great plus for an accommodation. Staff was very friendly and understanding of our situation. Breakfast is also very much worth the extra money.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The room was absolutely beautiful and the surroundings were also breathtaking, we went for a 2 hour walk right after arriving because of how amazed we were at the scenery! And the staff was extremely friendly and even let us check in later than stated in the schedule because we has heavy traffic and had a 4 hour delay in our trip.

Excellent service and familiar atmosphere. We had the exceptional experience of staying in the hotel during the early July 2023 summer orcan, seeing trees falling all around. No hurry to leave the hotel, all well. Highly recommended

What a find! In a lovely village, so close to Edam and Purmerend, with plenty of countryside walking/cycling all around. Very relaxed and comfortable place, rooms clean and comfy, and nothing too much trouble for Lisa and her lovely team. We asked to change to softer pillows which was done immediately with no problem. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Best continental breakfast I've had! They had thought of everything and so beautifully laid out! So nice!!

If you stay in the accomodation beware of really steep wooden steps up to the room!

This is a beautiful old hotel/restaurant in the countryside away from the noise of Amsterdam yet still close enough for day trips. The rooms were comfortable, the food outstanding and the staff just gorgeous. On day trips to Amsterdam, we took the P+R from Amsterdam Noord where it was only 1 euro for parking and only 3 metro stops to the centre of Amsterdam.
