Lovely older style property. Central to museum quarter parks shopping street with restaurants. Easy walk to main train station Booked single room but minor issue and was given an excellent larger double room on the street side with the westerly sun through the trees. Very clean very comfortable very quiet - good nights sleep Excellent value for money with welcoming helpful reception. Highly recommend

From very early in the morning I could smell baking bread up on the 3rd floor - it's delicious but not at that early time.

Perfect location for getting around, shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Staff in hotel were friendly, helpful and always available. Garden is for sure an asset and we made use of the parking too.

The room was a welcome change from the summer temperatures. Lovely and quiet air conditioning. Breakfast was superb with a mix of hot and cold choices. The hotel was clean with friendly staff. The area was quiet and we walked everywhere so cannot comment on public transport links. We’d stay again.

Only drawback was I found I always had to ring the bell to be let in , my room card didn’t seem to let me in to the lobby, I’m unsure if this is the case for all keys or if mine didn’t work. But reception was 24/7 so wasn’t an issue for my stay. Pillow was a bit bumpy too but otherwise everything in the room was perfect.

Very clean and cosy. Staff very friendly. In nice area near cafes. Despite room being smaller it still had all necessary facilities along with a kettle and mini fridge.

This year was my third stay in this hotel in a row (coming for North Sea Jazz fest). That alone speaks for itself. Love coming back. Family hotel with cozy rooms, nice small garden for breakfest (summer mornings feel like a reward there), super friendly staff, great location. Already planning to come back next year. For vinyl record diggers, there are multiple record shops on the street just behind the corner.

Hotel in a quiet side street off a busy and lively main street with lots of bars, restaurants, bakeries, supermarket, coffee shops and record stores! Approximately 15 minutes walk from the main station. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, a good self-service breakfast. I was in a single room which was quite small but the bed was comfortable and had a decent shower. The hotel is an old building so has a narrow spiral staircase going up 4 floors and you do hear noise from adjourning rooms

The entrance is quite tight - if you're on a wheelchair or with a kinderwagen, you're going to struggle. They have an elevator though

Lovely garden area and quiet bar was open until late which was great as we didn't arrive until nearly 23.00 Room has a nice balcony and we had the separate beds requested Really comfortable beds Lovely bathroom and bottled water in the fridge and tea and coffee provided
