The fire alarm was very poorly handled. By staff and guests! The fire alarm sounded on Saturday morning at around 8 am. I was just finishing showering. When I left the room 3 minutes later, I followed the escape plan that is in my room. Easy, turn right twice. But when I got outside, NOBODY was there. No guests, no people from the hotel to do a head count, nothing. There was not even a sign with an assembly point. The door had locked behind me so I couldn't get back in, and I was at a parking lot that was enclosed by gates, so I couldn't get off that either. I called the hotel; the friendly lady from reception came to pick me up after 3 minutes.

Very nice hotel. Right in the centre of town, only a few minutes walking from the train station and maybe 8 minutes walking to the theatre. Good bathroom with a shower, good breakfast (buffet with continental breakfast, eggs and sausages) and the BEST BED I'VE SLEPT IN FOR YEARS. There's a little fridge in the room. I didn't use the tv. Very friendly people at reception.

The door to the bathroom was just a sliding door which didn't close off properly, therefore very unsuitable for a room for more than one person. The coffee machine was broken, but luckily quickly replaced(!) The TV control was not clean. The hallway of the second floor was quite grey and unwelcoming.

Overall passable room and washing facilities /bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for them to check the coffee machine.

Restroom had an awkward toilet placement and it was difficult to use. Can't imagine a larger person being able to use it. Bed was not the most comfortable one and radiators made running water type noise throughout the night.

Great location, amazing price, room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent too. It's not a luxurious place but for the price, it is great and I'd stay here again. I had stayed in Maastricht before and it cost me 3 times as much and I didn't get anything more. Maastricht is only 25min away by car. There is an Irish pub below the hotel and it's great but a bit pricy. If your room is facing street and if you're sensitive to noise, it could bother you as patrons stand and talk outside it. More pubs and restaurants within 5min walking distance.

Toilet seat had almost no space in front. It was quite difficult for a guy like me (185cm) to properly sit. One night there was a party at the neighbouring pub. Could not sleep until half past midnight, sound proofing is not the best.

Nice and cosy rooms, quite big for this price. Very comfortable beds, a nice table to work at, if needed. Breakfast has a decent choice, eggs always available.

The beds are very poor quality. The hotel rooms are pretty old and run down.

Location is excellent for the town centre and no car required, Train station nearby too. Staff were very friendly and helpful including the cleaners. Price was fair.

There were no electricity sockets near the bed to charge my phone. The bathroom was tiny, my knees touched the wall when I sat on the toilet, and I'm not a big person.
