Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PortugalThe dining area at the hotel is great, but the menu could be better. It’s a shame that such a nice space is limited to just pizzas and quiches.
The location was excellent, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were all very helpful, especially Adriana, who was incredible. The room was modern and functional, making for a very comfortable experience.

IsraelEven though everything in the bathroom is new, the silicon down the shower door was already torn down and a lot of water was leaking to the floor. There's no shelf inside the shower, which is very unconvenient. In the shower I found out that in the shower gel and shampoo bottles were filled with water instead of soap! After I has told it to a cleaning lady, she finally filled it out. But the first day I had to use my own shampoo and shower gel. In order to get to your floor, you have to scan your key card in the elevator and press a button of your floor. Too bad a lady at the bar reception didn't tell us about it. It took us a minute to figure out why the elevator doesn't move. The breakfast is very basic and pretty expensive, and the kitchen opens only at 11:00. At night it was pretty noisy at the street, it's a student campus.
This is a very clean small hotel, 8 minutes walking from the Central Station and very close to the historical center. The entrance to the hotel is through a bar. The check-in/out is theoretically available online, but the links they provide are not active. So there is a possibility to do it by yourself or by the bar lady. Not a problem. A room is pretty small, but if you have up to 2 trolleys, there's a place to put them on the floor. A bed is comfortable, 4 big pillows. In our room we had 3 windows, one of them could symbolically open. Ventilation is good thought. If you want to see a little sky, ask for the upper floor. We saw just a little from the 4th floor. A shower is comfortable. Warm floor is very nice. Everything is new. Smart TV, very good Wi-Fi.

BelgiumWe had some minor issues during our stay that we reported to the staff. We didn’t have soap or shampoo in the room (or rather, we had full dispensers but with watery soap and watery shampoo as if they had been empty and just filled with water). When we asked about this we were told that they would be replaced. Unfortunately this was never done. We also had a maintenance issue, since the shower was leaking and flooding the bathroom after each shower, because the shower door seal had been taken out and put against a wall. We were told this would be fixed only after we checked out. So we ended up trying to fix the shower door seal ourselves to avoid flooding. Overall, we would have hoped for some more reactiveness regarding these small issues that could have been easily resolved.
Very good and convenient location, close to the center and to the train station. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

BelgiumThe floor of our room was quite dusty and dirty. We had to ask the staff twice to clean our room again. The WiFi also wasn’t the best.
The bath had both a bathtub and a shower, the bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the TV.

NetherlandsThere were no ammenities. No showercap, toothbrush or toothpick and such. Asked the staff if they had it, since its not in the room (green initiative) but not available. Also no drinking glasses in room. Only coffee cups.
Its a very pleasant place to be. It is quite neat and modern. The room we had was very small, we only stayed one night so not a big problem.

SwitzerlandSelf service check-in took much longer time than check-in by receptionist. No soap in bathroom the first night. We took evening and morning shower without soap. No tea or coffee cup in the room, despite of tea and coffee facility are well prepared. The breakfast is nothing special.
I like the location, it is not crowded, it is closed to parking house and close to city center. Also the location closed to train and tram station.

SwedenWe booked a family room with a big bunk bed, which was great for us, 2 adults + 2 kids. The only and the biggest disappointment was that our family room had no normal windows, just 3 small ones under the ceiling (family rooms are located in the basement). I didn't see any mention of it on booking.com. And because of this, the room was pretty dark. And it would be great to have one more chair and a coffee table / lounge area in the rooms where you want to accommodate 4 people.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is located in the city center, and many bars and restaurants are nearby. Cosy interiors, nice and helpful staff, central location.
