Shared bathroom without light in the actual shower. Out of 2 showers, only one was working. No place to put your soap and your clothes inside the shower.

Unfortunately it was pretty dirty, bedsheet had stains + holes in pillows covers…showers were few and Occupied for very long by other guests, If one is working others streams were basically dry. A lot of stains on the walls too…

I think, the business owner should change bed, pillow cover and bed sheet. Most of the things were ok. For this price but again everone comes to sleep well. I left room in midnight, as i could not sleep.

Very expensive for what it was. I don't mind a frugal hostel but the price did not match what the hostel had to offer. The room was okay, sanitary was not. Lots of mold on the walls and a damp, musty smell. Too bad there is no common area or reception.

The staff was very friendly though and the location very convenient.

there was no compromise once my booking was wrong I thought I booked two nights.

I don't know signs so I can't answer the above signs. unfortunately my booking was wrong but due to your policy I couldn't anywhere to sleep than to sleep at Centraale Station among homeless. the next day I have to return to UK to resume work. Well, it is one of the bad experience I got.

Insects/bed bugs on the walls, bed and floor. I was forced to kill some of them every day and check my bedsheets extensively for any bed bugs. Also the room was extremely small, but you get what you pay for.

Mostly the location (it was in the center of Rotterdam, close to any station) and the lower price against other options. The shared shower/bathroom was in a good condition and during my staying there, it was silent.

It is not clean at all . Please come every time and bring clean sheet and pillow cover and even clean blanket. For god sake after a long time come and put new mattress . Your mattress have bed bugs . I was not believing until I saw with my own eyes. This bed bugs will grow until when that you have no choice except close the hostel for clean the entire building .

wear bed cloths as i’ve been bitten too shit. it is a hostel and get what you pay for. room was real basic. bed , small table , little fridge and a fan. shared bathroom & shower were clean

location was great. plenty of bars , restaurants outside. reception opened at 12o’clock and let me store bags till check in. central stn 10min walk , metro 1min walk.

Absolutely no ventilation in the room, and it was incredibly hot and stuffy; it was very humid and felt like a sauna. I understand that ventilation is difficult in a room with no windows, but even just a fan would have helped. (I'm sure the rooms with windows are much more comfortable though; I was just traveling on a budget and couldn't be picky). There was no toilet paper in the top floor bathroom the whole time that I was there (which was only two days, but these things should be checked frequently). The stairs are very steep and there's no lift, which isn't a problem per se, but would have been useful to know about before arriving - backpacks are far easier to maneuver up small, narrow stairs than big suitcases.

Location is fantastic! Really vibey, beautiful neighbourhood with lots of bars, restaurants, museums, parks, and public transit points. The suggestion lists in the hostel for places to go were a nice touch. The room was clean and neat and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. No sign of any bedbugs which were mentioned in other reviews, which was a relief. Thoroughly recommend cake and coffee at The Chocolate Company down the road :)

I shared the room with a girl who got some red spots on her skin and after sleeping and we weren't sure if they were bed bugs or just mosquito bites. Also the rooms don't include lockers, the only lockers are in the common areas and most of them were broken. You need to have own lock and it has to be big enough to be able to close the locker.

Although I wasn't expecting too much (given the cheap price), the room needs better cooling ventilation when the door is closed (I was sweating). The only feasible way to make the room a comfortable temperature was to have the door open (using a shoe as a door stop), this was problematic in getting to sleep in and of its self as light from the hallway flooded the room. Also the bed could do with a another/better pillow.

Only had 2 beds for 3 people. They did put a mattress on the floor for us. Staff were generally unfriendly. Like climbing a mountain to get to room so don’t bring heavy suitcases.

Cheap price = not the best hostel I've visited. One person left the room in the morning early, then another person said his wallet and phone were missing :( I slept with all valuables in my pocket. There is a locker outside the room, BUT you need your own padlock. There was a poster saying padlock for rent in the 'reception'- which is a bar downstairs, but the barman/manager says they didn't have any locks , when I went to look at the lockers, there was no padlocks anywhere so I guess they either run out or just weren't bothered to get new ones.

Good location. Close to the train station. Cheap price compared to other hostels so worth it. Some nice breakfast places not too far from the hostel, but none on location.

There were no-smoking signs posted everywhere, but when we got into the room, everything reeked of cigarette smoke. In the toilet and shower there was not even basic soap to wash hands, when I asked the staff about it, they said that it is a hostel and it is not provided. Cleanliness of rooms and toilets left to do better.

I liked only the place of the hostel, because it’s in the central part of the city, 15 minutes walking from main railway station.
