Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Enjoyed the shared lounge area with coffee (Nespresso type) and tea. Great location overlooking the square. Room had everything we needed.

ItalyThe day of my stay there was a party in the square with loud music until 10.45pm (not the hotel’s fault but if this is a concern to you, check the calendar of events).
The position is very central and also close to the train station and shops. The staff did their best to make me feel welcome. The interior has been refurbished with attention to detail and a overall vintage feeling.

THe hotel is a short walk from the central train station. We arrived early and left our bags at the front desk. When we returned later our bags were already brought to the room. It was nice to look directly into the canopy of a sycamore from the bed.

United KingdomThere was no housekeeping in our room after the first night. There was no butter on our breakfast tray one morning and I had to go down to reception to find someone. Some of the room facilities were too high - I couldn't reach the safe without standing on a chair, I felt unsafe doing so, and had difficulty getting up and back down. I also had to stand on a chair to see the AC controls properly and to read the instructions initially. I also had to stand on the bed to pull the blind down in the velux window above the bed.
Breakfast was very good - but too much! We could have easily shared one platter between us. It would be good to have a choice of a small breakfast. The staff were lovely, always very helpful and willing.
