The bathrooms were a little bit too public which made it tricky to time it right. You had to walk through the bathroom to get into 2 of the rooms.

Really really lovely little hostel with beautiful garden and nice social (but gentle) vibe. I feel really well rested and uplifted after staying here.

It's a hostel so OK, but for example the toilets/showers are separate from the room. The room was really tiny for 4 people.

No air con so could get a little warm in peak summer months. As with all hostels you can come across some strange guests staying there and we certainly came across one!

Great hostel and location in the heart of Giethoorn. Free parking outside. Great big outdoor space in the garden with bbq. Breakfast was included which was nice in the morning! Staff very friendly and welcoming.

The place is generally quite ok, especially considering it is a hostel. The rooms and the toilets could have been cleaner (we found some hair here and there). I would have liked some more choices for the breakfast.

The location is amazing: right on one of the canals, and from here you can start your tour around Giethoorn (either walking, biking or renting a boat). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bearing in mind that this is a hostel: the room was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was ok. Our room was right in front of the private bathroom . Breakfast was good. We very much enjoyed the space and facilities in the garden (tables, hammocks, etc).

- Location: Very good location, right next to a boat rental shop (which is also a big restaurant/cafe). Easy to access the village. - Garden: The hostel is very well maintained, the area is clean and the garden is beautiful with many trees and flowers. The big garden can also used as playground, for grilling, chilling, etc,… - Shared area: the shared kitchen and bathrooms are well-equipped and spacious, clean. Breakfast is OK. - Room: clean, shared room so sometimes there will be noise from other guests. - Staffs: the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower head as the water wasn’t directed in one place.

This property is amazing, it was far enough away to peaceful but close enough to have a great 20 min walk to the centre. The room was great. It is nice a peaceful, but there are lots of things to do. The bathroom facilities are easily accessible. And the common/kitchen area is very well done and inviting. AND I got breakfast included which was so nice!

Room is not well ventilated. The window and a door to be opened during staying in the room. It causes mosquitos and bugs entering the room. If the door and window are closed during sleeping or staying in the room, the temperature was going up and caused unpleasant.

It is very closed to the boat rental shop. Very nice owner and employers in there.

The quadraple room we booked was a tiny room with bunk bed with no TV and the toilet was not in the room but was quite acceptable.

Not much breakfast options. I think the rule on quiet hours isn't that well communicated to guests, so it gets a bit hard to sleep at night, especially when one needs to wake up early to catch on the next trip schedule.

The cleanliness of our room could definitely be improved. There were spider webs under our beds and a spider on the toilet's ceiling.

The staff is really helpful and friendly. The breakfast included is quite decent given that it's a small hostel. They also have their own parking which can be used by their guests in a first come, first serve basis. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Private bathroom outside the room means that there is a large bathroom with numbered stalls for toilets and showers. Sinks are shared. Not so bad, but just keep in mind.

Hostel is very well located in Giethoorn. We loved the tranquility in the evening and early morning, very good place to relax mentally. Smit boat rental is close to the property, so you can go there if you want to rent a boat.
