Returning to a favorite spot can be risky, but "Suite on the A" didn't disappoint. A year after our first fantastic visit, we found everything to be just as we had hoped. Aysegul, the host, is a warm and welcoming person who truly defines hospitality.

These are not things that are big issues, but suggestions to make the stay even more comfortable: providing a small amount of washing machine powder/pods, some cloths to wash dishes and wipe down counters and some washing up liquid. Dishwasher pods were provided which was very helpful.

We rented two suites for 5 people for my son's graduation. Both were very clean and comfortable and well stocked with crockery, cutlery and bedding. The split level apartment has a very nice big kitchen and we were easily able to prepare the food for the post graduation meal. It was good to have a large fridge. The location is excellent and we were able to get everywhere we needed to be within a 20 minute walk. There is a supermarket about 300m away. The coffee machine works well. The hostess is helpful and responds very quickly. She kindly let us check in early and advised where to park.

There is nothing to dislike about the apartment or the hosts

From the initial booking to check out everything could not have been easier. Hosts were quick to respond to my many questions and were there to greet on arrival. Lovely welcoming people. The apartment is very well located for both the train station and the centre of town. Facilities were excellent, it was really clean and warm and offered everything you could need for an enjoyable stay, even an umbrella for the wet weather we had! It is stylishly decorated and has a welcoming calm air about it. We had a lovely time there. Supermarkets and cafes all close by and within easy reach. Can definitely recommend and would stay again when visiting Groningen

It’s not really a dislike. The steep staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom. But we got used to it after a while. The beds could have been more firm and comfortable. And the bedsheet could have been as smooth as the duvet covers. Other than these, everything is perfect.

It was in an excellent location. Close proximity to train station with great food, vismart, shops. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen for light cooking, coffee and beddings, towels for all beds. More than enough hangers for a family of 4 adults to hang all our clothes.

The host was very nice and welcoming! There was also free-parking for our car arranged by the host in front of the apartment. The amenities and house appliances were complete and in good qualities! The place was also close by the city center, very convenient.

The stairs were quite steep but we knew thanks to comments online. It was also a bit colder in the bedroom upstairs than in the living room but it was ok.

We liked the location a lot, the space, the kitchen and the coffee machine ! We came in Groningen with my family for my graduation and this place was the perfect fit ! Also the owner was very welcoming and arranging :)

Some passing shouty people at 2 am on the weekend. Mosquitoes after rain, had to close windows. Extremely steep original stairs, each only about 10-12 cm wide, so had to go up and down sideways and very carefully. None of this spoiled our stay.

Great location for the centre, in a mostly quiet street. You can walk there in 10 minutes from the railway station. Everything inside was great quality, new and arty, including beds, linen, kitchen, bathrooms, lamps, etc. Mobile air conditioning unit upstairs. Cute terrace at the back between the buildings.

The stairs to the bedroom were very steep and may not suit elderly or disabled people. So, it would be good to know before booking.

The hostess was wonderful and recommended several,must see desitinations including the Martini tower and the Forum. The kitchen was fantastic and I used it every day. It was handy having an extra toilet downstairs. Lovely bathroom and the bed wS comfortable, too. The location wS close to the shopping district and public transport.

Location is great to get to downtown Groeningen. My sister lives there and we were only a few streets away from her as well. All in all; great location. Room had everything you need. Great shower, TV, living room, all very comfortable and bright etc.

There was nothing we didn't like. Perfect accommodation to start out 20 day European trip.

The host's greeting was warm, informative and very helpful on arrival. Fantastic, after 20 hour+ travel time to get there. The location was exquisite. In town, but not too in town...facilities and shopping easily reached within walking distance. Accommodation was comfortable and homely...highly recommend.
