This boat was a fantastic way to stay in Amsterdam! It had wonderful views, it was very comfortable and had everything you could ask for. My friend Peace and I had a phenomenal stay!!!!

Extra towels for our 4 night stay would have been useful. There is a gap in the window blinds in the bathroom which needs fixing for total privacy while taking a shower

Loved our time here! Could hear hosts downstairs at times, whistling and fixing things which could bother some, but we didn't mind as we were aware of this beforehand and we felt there was wnough privacy between us to still feel comfortable. We used the sauna every day, but does require some time to heat up. Nice Sukin shampoo/cobditioner/body wash provided. We would gladly stay here again next time we are in AMS!

There is a very funky smell in the bathroom under the sink. Really turns your stomach!

Love the unique experience of staying on a boat. The location is beautiful. Also love having the sauna as an added perk at the end of a busy day exploring.

The first floor of the boat is inhabitable which isn’t an issue most of the time, however when it is - you really feel like in a share house, no privacy. It’s not immaculately clean. It’s a bit of a distance to everything. Sadly, we were both really sick and really needed the quiet and private time, wasn’t always the case. Saying that, I’d still recommend it for its unforgettable atmosphere if you can overlook sharing the boat and ignore the cleanliness part. If you are young/easy-going and it’s your first time in Amsterdam, you wouldn’t regret staying there. If you are a bit more mature and demanding, the hotel might be a better option.

Such an atmospheric and unique stay. Big space, tastefully decorated in a nice local district. Very responsive hosts. Sauna is a great bonus particularly in a gloomy weather. Great view!

Location is very calm quite near to the city center. Apartment well equipped with all the stuff you may need for a pure relaxation. Excellent view with a great atmosphere.

firstly, the space is beautiful and the location is perfect if you need a break from the crowds. so nice to have your own area to make some food. I recommend you hit the Jumbo grocery store before you arrive or take a nice walk to get refreshments.

A microwave and hob was something we missed although it did have an oven and tea/coffee facilities. Also my husband missed the TV.

The boat was very well laid out with all the mod cons - central heating, kitchen, bathroom. it was very airy with lots of windows. The outside space was nice with a seating area and a sauna. The host welcomed us with snacks and a bottle of wine. Very good communication from the host.

Everything was great.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Amsterdam and I would highly recommend it! The communication from Suzan was excellent before we arrived and throughout our stay. The boat is large so there is very minimal movement from the waves (my husband was worried about that prior to our arrival). We really enjoyed the cool chairs on the sun deck and the location was within walking distance of the metro and the city center. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Amsterdam!

We rented the boat partially because there was a sauna included. however after waiting 5+ hours the first day and 4 the second day it did just not work, which was too bad, since we were really looking forward to it.

You could tell the owners put thought into making the houseboat feel cozy, that was lovely

The shower was not in great working condition, with very low water pressure and the drainage not working properly. The bed was a bit squeaky as well, but other than that very cosy. Also, for this sort of price class, I would expect the kitchen to be more equipped with a proper set cutlery, cutting knifes and some basic condiments.

A lovely host, very clean everything, and a super comfy bed.

the exterior of the boat is dirty. One of the steps as you come into the boat is missing and could be dangerous. The door to the sauna does not close. The boat feels a bit tiered, the exterior could do with a really good clean - windows haven't been cleaned for a good amount of time and the deck has broken seating and seems just left since last summer, some love required.

The view from the boat and the feel whilst inside the boat is romantic and exactly as we expected.
