Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GuernseyThe toilet and shower door was frosted from the wrong side so you couldn't see out but people could see your silhouette through it. Food and drinks were quite expensive.
The hotel room was clean and the scenery was beautiful. Lots to do - alpine coaster ski-ing, climbing as extras.

NetherlandsWhile the surfaces in the room are clean, overall the room has some permanent stains on the bed frames, walls and curtains. It shows that it is an old room, so a renovation is much needed. The bathroom has no walls, it is just separated with a glass from the rest of the room. The worse of all are the beds unfortunately - very soft and they keep moving (the 'double' bed is just two singles pressed together). Pillows are also very soft and they do not support your head at all. This is very inconvenient as you come back tired from the slopes and you don't have a proper rest, I personally woke up feeling much worse afterwards.
Hotel is next to the slopes, so it is very convenient to enjoy a full day of skiing. Staff is very friendly and polite. The backyard where breakfast is served is beautiful and quiet. Rooms are spacious and you have a lot of space to store your suitcases and your equipment.

IrelandRooms are very poor, the beds are separate and to sleep togather you need to tight them yourself, otherwise they stroll away at night. No kettle, not nothing, furniture fallaing apart. This place really needs some maintanance. high price for what you get. Breakfast very repetitive, all the time the same things.
Good location if you are there to use SnowWorld, very handy to sleep on site.

BelgiumThe design of the bathroom sliding door is frustrating. It's impossible to fully close it from the inside when you're alone, whether you're using the toilet or the shower. While it's not a big deal for the toilet, the inability to close the door during a shower can lead to water flooding into the room. The concept feels poorly executed, and the lack of an inside handle is a clear design flaw.
The hotel offers a really nice breakfast with a good variety of options. The beds are very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep.

United KingdomI can’t believe the bathroom and shower room are completely see through and as I was staying here with my 16 year old son, you can imagine how we laughed when we saw the room! I was summoned to the bar whilst he had a shower!

RomaniaOld , used and quite simplistic furniture. Cannot agree less with the solution of shower/toilet (separated, but usimg a common sliding door, with the only handle from outside). If you wish to have a dinner somewhere nearby, better to check twice and be ready to use the car to get to a (opened) restaurent.
The surrouding is nice for people who love nature. Well maintained houses and streets in neighboring villages. Rooms are clean have a decent size.

NetherlandsI was travelling with a business partner and and booked two beds. If you are a fit and slim person the beds are perfect. The window would only open a tiny bit and was more a ceiling light. We were surprised to see that the toilet and shower were build as a glass cabin in the room, closed by one glass-sliding door. The double-faucet is inside the hotelroom, divided by a wall, no door. It looks very modern but it's not exactly private. If you don't mind, no problem but it could be a bit awkward, especially as the sliding door doesn't close completely. No water except tapwater in the room, only one piece of soap, no conditioner, bodylotion, rooms not cleaned during short stay (which is ok as there was nothing to replenish and as we want to reduce plastic it's ok to not have mini-bottles of shampoo or separately packed tissues except toilet paper but with the German dm market on 20 min driving distance you can buy your own necessities). Irritant AI assistant that kept sending too many messages through whatsapp AND mail that should include links but didn't. I love using AI but this one is probably not programmed correctly. Otherwise this would be really practical.
Very clean, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast with plenty options, even gluten free, free parking space, comfortable beds, easy check-out (just put keycard in letterbox), adventurous surrounding with plenty to do and to see if you have the time. Do take the time to climb the stairs up the ski-hall hill and admire the stunning view, preferably by sunset. You'll love it (if stairs are not your thing, take the spiralling path along the hill).

CyprusThe 3rd bed was not comfortable at all. one night, some of the wooden parts fell off while i was sleeping unexpectedly and the bed was formed with a small whole in between. During one night of our stay, there was loud music and people talking and singing next to our room. I messaged the room service and they responded immediately, comforting us that they will stop soon. It happened 20 minutes later and we could finally sleep.
Staff was polite friendly and helpful. facilities - restaurant etc were good.

United KingdomNo Kettle in the room or even one behind the reception desk. The QR code scan didn't work trying to get into ski, no one around, had to ask 3 people, eventually advised to scan the exit first ??? which worked but lost 15mins of slope time, and yes you guessed it also didn't work trying to get out too - rubbish.
The ladies on reception were a font of knowledge, big help.

BelgiumRoom door absolutely not soundproof. The receptionist has to manage the hotel and the snowslopes desk in the same time so the waiting is too long. The access card to the room got desactivated 10 min before the check out time. It cost me a free round trip to the reception which is really far from the rooms
Easy access to the snowslopes and private parking

IrelandThe rooms are very basic. Crazy idea to have the beds on wheels...they move when you want to stick them together. The glass door at the bathroom is also a bad idea. No privacy at all. The food is very repetitive, no variety for breakfast. Expensive restaurant for what it offers. 3,5 Euro for 0.5L of water is unhuman.
The location is good, and it is very convenient to be located right at the centre of the action.
