We liked it all!

The location is magnificent! Walking distance to many major sights. You feel like a local living in the city in an amazing apartment. We really liked the warm welcome by Marlies. The App she provides is extremely helpful. The space is super nice! It’s very clean, the beds are very comfy and there’s enough space to hang out when you’re tired of walking the city. The cute little patio outside is perfect for a glass of wine in the sun at the end of the day. A really unique stay. We’ve enjoyed this much better than any of the (boutique) hotels in the area. We’ll definitly be back. Thanks Marlies and family for creating such a wonderful space and for your warm hospitality!

Everything was excellent.

The property was wonderful. The owner has carefully thought of everything someone could need during their stay even down to the little details (umbrellas, power adapters, hooks for jackets, espresso & tea, etc.) Our favorite part was sitting outside by the canal enjoying a meal from the market or a slice of apple pie with coffee.

The decor the area and how friendly the host was ive been to amsterdam lods before but i have not stayed in this area before we had a lovey evening sitting out side socking in the atmosphere of amsterdam i was recommend this accommodation

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful canalfront home! Our host was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The home was spotless, well-organized, and filled with thoughtful amenities and charming touches. The internet was fast, and the space was very comfortable throughout. We especially appreciated the app the host provided—it was packed with helpful information and made our visit even smoother. A truly wonderful stay!

We arrived when it was raining and therefore it became difficult to locate the apartment. We wished we had been told that even and odd apartment numbers were on the opposite sides of the canal, as you don't see the name of the street until you're on the other side of the canal.

The place was beautifully appointed, clean, and was close to the places we wanted to visit. The owner of the rented apartment took great pride in the apartment and was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Beautiful canal house apartment centrally located. The hostess greeted us on arrival and ensured that we had everything we needed. A bottle of wine on arrival and a packet of Dutch biscuits on departure were special touches.

We loved this property so much! Marlies was a great communicator and checked on us before and during the stay. She was very welcoming and a great host. Apartment is awesome and great location! Beds were super comfy - perfect for 4 people (and unlike a lot of properties the second bed is a real bed and not a sofa bed). Bathroom is super modern. Everything is well taken care of and clean.
