The family apartment itself is basic and a bit dated, but the bed is very comfortable.

A cosy family run hotel, good area of neighbours, 15 mins bike to coast, a good location to explore north and south parts of Duin park.

It was all good. The only problem was Booking.com not changing my booking because of a bereavement, despite agreeing to do so.

The walls are pretty thin and I was conscious of others moving around and to and from their rooms. Luckily it was not a busy time, though, and all guests were respectful of sleeping times.

The hotel is in a lovely old buiding on a really beautiful street in the centre of Nordwijk (not the part by the sea). It was a great place from which to explore the cute surrounding streets, and there are lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. My room was spacious and super clean, the bed was comfy and the shower worked brilliantly. The staff were very helpful and they were able to provide a delicious gluten and dairy free breakfast for me.

Shower was over a bath and it was very slippy! Slightly overpriced for a single room. It cost €5 per hour to play billiards.

I was upgraded on arrival to a double room. Super friendly receptionist. Good, clean room with decent wifi. Parking in the hotel car park. Decent breakfast. Lovely location. Good supermarket within walking distance.

Would like a brighter light in the bathroom for applying makeup. A sheet for the bed as I found the duvet far too warm.

Two very small things: the water preasure was so so; and the closet is not big enough for two people.

A very nice hotel about 20 min drive (by bus) from Leiden. The breakfast was fantastic! The rooms are quiet and very clean. There is a desk - comfortable for office work - and another small table. Check-in was flexible, later than the reception regular hours.

Having a plug socket near the head of the bed would have been helpful. Room was a bit warm, but a fan was provided.

The room and bathroom was clean, and had what was needed. Appreciated having the small fridge. Breakfast offer was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. Location is a short walk from amenities, and also short walk to bus which goes to Leiden Central.

There are no windows so can get a bit stuffy.

My room was bit basic but clean and tidy with everything you need. Breakfast was fantastic! Really nice selection of food. Staff were very friendly. The area was lovely and I found a fab little bar / restaurant for dinner and had an excellent meal.

Family suite in need of renovation. Some spider web on the ceiling. The light in the Master bedroom is very dark, would use a stronger bulb.

The shower wasn't very powerful, but it did the job. The toilet itself was positioned in an odd place so we were staring at a very closeup tiled wall. Again, not an issue, just little bit odd.

The location although on the outskirts, was close enough for a nice walk into town and to the beach. The three busses we needed for the main ride into Leiden town (the main town with trains etc) was only a short walk away. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage for our clothes so that we didn't have to live out of our suitcase all week. The continental breakfast was lovely too, with lots of options available. If you're stuck for places to eat dinner, I recommend Open Doors (the ribs were the most amazing I've ever had) and Ko Sing (everything was freshly prepared and delicious)

it was very hot, so I had also to open during the night the door of the terrace which worked fine, it is just that the terrace is accessible to everyone of the hotel guests which may not be liked by everyone.

The wifi was good in the living room but not great in the bedroom. The bathtub unfortunately did not hold the water completely so taking a long hot bath did not work as expected.

We were surprised about the big size of the apartment. It was comfortable an clean. Television with German and English channels. Some free parking spots. The location was very nice with lots of old houses. Much better than close to the sea...

Guest required to cook eggs as per their choice on the breakfast buffet. Only boiled eggs available Had to climb small and curved staircase to the rooms. No elevator Shower should have a closure /curtain to prevent water from spilling out
