The location was perfect for our needs. Easy tram, quiet neighborly vibe. Laying on the bed made you feel like you were in a jungle because of the lovely garden the hosts have created.

Nice view on the canal, is possible to swimm. Very quiet locality. Two supermarkets are not so long from the apartment. There we have everything, what we need. Very kindly neighbour Diane. She was amazing and helpful. She gives us a present, when we have department. I recommend this for all visitors. The tram 26 go there from Centraal Station.The way is cca 15min.

Close walking distance to a tram stop, the porch on the water is a great place to sit, the kitchen is small but had what we needed. Our host was onsite when we arrived and provided access and a walk through of the place. He also took us for a a nice boat ride to show us the area, it was an unexpected perk and the kids loved it. There were also board games that we were able to play.

Marjolein and Jan were wonderful, helpful hosts, always available and with useful tips for exploring Amsterdam and its surroundings. The room had everything you need, the space was well-designed and allowed you to place everything you need. The location is amazing: the room opens out onto a canal where you can watch waterfowl, a supermarket is a five-minute walk away, public transport stops and stunning views of a modern, quiet residential area, located 15 minutes by tram from Amsterdam train station. The area invites frequent walks in a modern and comfortable architectural environment.

Beautiful location and great friendly and helpful hosts. Small but well equipped for a very comfortable short stay. Highly recommended for a couple.

Would be perfect for a couple but we were an adult and two teens and it was a bit tight. There is no space to put away luggage or any sort of wardrobe to store clothes.

The property was private and well setup for a family of 4, and would be even more spacious for a couple. We were able to swim from the private jetty and use the canoe. It was conveniently located for the tram and local shops - it is also close to a lovely marina and restaurants who deliver takeaway. Marjolein and Jan are lovely hosts.

Jan is an excellent host, we really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful, with an excellent view straight on the cannel, close to the city (15 min to Central Station).

It is a pity that you cannot cook, there is only a microwave in the kitchen.

Beautiful setting looking out over the canal. Very quiet. Has a nice deck and outdoor seating area. Nice shower, comfortable bed. The proximity to public transportation is great. But most of all, the hosts were amazing. They made us dinner twice, did our laundry and offered to take us on a boat tour. Wonderful people!!

I loved the beautiful view of the canal (right out the patio door!), where I was able to bird watch while relaxing. The room was very close to the tram to central station (about a three minute walk). I really like staying in residential neighbourhoods when I travel, it makes one feel more a part of the community. The room was also very close to supermarkets and restaurants. Just remember to bring cash, because the supermarket did not take credit cards!

More shelves or a cabinet in the bathroom would have been nice.

The place looks like a little quiet oasis very close to the busy town center. It was definitely one of the best places in which we stayed in Amsterdam, and we went there many times. Marjolein and Jan are very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended

The room was clean and cozy with a very nice view of the water. The neighborhood is peaceful but still had some nice places to go out to eat and was very close to the tram stop. The host was lovely and very helpful in providing recommendations for things to see in the area and how to get there.

We enjoyed the stay in the Room with the a few in Amsterdam so much! Everything was ok, the appartment is cosy and well equipped with lovely small garden just by the canal (sitting there right by the water with the morning coffee or in the evening with the glass of wine was just amazing). And last but not least - Marjolein and Jan are really great, nice and friendly hosts, they took us for a boat trip and showed us their modern and interesting neighborhood IJburg. Thank you very much, we had a great vacation there.

17 minutes door to door from central Amsterdam. The host truly looks after your well being and check that you have everything you need. There are small shops and restaurants 5 minute walking distance from the room.

small and cosy apartment with lake view, equipped with everything that needed, close to the tram station and large grocery store, 12 min by tram to the central station. lovely host and great stay. definitely will stay there again when we come back to Amsterdam.

The accommodation was excellent. The weather could have been better...but we did visit in Feb

Nice room with a biautifull view on the water channel. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Grocery store, coffee house and tram stop nearby. Small and properly equiped kitchen and patio, spatious room. Very hospitable and helpful owners. Definitely recommend to stay!

Microwave only, no cooking hob. GSM signal is very weak in the neighborhood, but Wi-Fi in the room is sufficient even for smart TV.

It was a lovely place and neighborhood. Everything was very close and make the stay easy. The room was very comfortable and very cutly designed. We really enjoyed our stay.
