Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Loved the neighborhood. It was not touristy and felt like locals lived there and not a lot of hotels yet it was very easy to walk or take a tram anywhere. Breakfast very good and wonderful staff.

ItalyThe hotel is in a perfect location for both the city center and the Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, thanks to the nearby tram stop. It’s also close to the Foodhallen indoor market. The room was tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggages after check-out. Breakfast was satisfying and offered a good variety.

GermanyThe rooms are a bit dated, with bathroom doors showing some rot at the edges despite being clean. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, and with the tram to the central station under renovation, getting there currently requires a detour.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is clean, and they serve specialty coffee on request. Breakfast is simple yet satisfying, and they quickly resolved my booking issue. The location is convenient with supermarket and restaurants nearby, the bed is comfortable, and the check-in process is smooth. Wi-Fi is stable, and housekeeping keeps everything tidy throughout the stay.

This place is an excellent place to stay. The room was so organized and arranged in a way that the furnishing fits the space perfectly. The hotel concept was really classic. The cafe was positioned at the entrance, outlooking the street, creating a cozy ambiance. And they provide breakfast for the amount that I paid, which I think is really worth it. But the lady sitting behind the reception counter can sound rather unfriendly. But otherwise the other staff are warm and nice. Overall, this designer of this 3-star hotel should be promoted to another level.

I was able to book this one last minute, and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. Even letting me borrow an adaptor for my phone. Overall the stay in the hotel was nice with a tasty breakfast included.

My stay was great. I've asked for a quite room in the back. I booked a single room. They upgraded me to a cozy, quite and clean double room facing the back. Many thanks for that. The breakfast was simple but everything was fresh. The coffee was special. Made from an old stile italian coffee machine and served at request on the table. Delicious. The street, and surroudings are full of all kinds of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bars and many more. The conection to Central Station is easy. The staff is super friendly, they are always there, with a smile, to help you. So, no down side at all. I would highly recommend The Larende Hotel

That's a fantastic place to stay for several days. It's located in the center area, very next to tram stations. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The apartment was clean, quite and had everything you need.

The location was very convenient: close to the airport and also near the tram line to get to the city center. You can even walk there in about half an hour. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, too. The breakfast was excellent. We’d especially like to thank the hotel owner Mr. Murat, as well as Mr. Ramazan, Ms. Asya, Mr. Kenan and all the other staff. We’re especially grateful for how warmly they supported us during a difficult time. If I ever come back to Amsterdam, I’ll definitely choose Hotel Larende again. We love you all. United KingdomThe hotel's website instructions about how to get to the hotel by tram had not been updated to take into account the fact that the number 13 tram no longer goes from the train station (we do not know if this is temporary or permanent, but it certainly was not a short-term change), so it was very confusing when we arrived at Amsterdam Centraal after a full day's travelling.
What an excellent hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice (and it was quiet, being at the back of the hotel) and everything was clean. The bathroom was much larger than average for this type of hotel/room, and the shower was great. The location was convenient for sightseeing, restaurants and food shops. The breakfast offered a good range of foods, relative to the size of the hotel. We had a great time there, and would definitely recommend the hotel. (The beds were comfortable, but some people might find them much too firm.)

RomaniaOur stay had some downsides, unfortunately. The TV remote only worked if you pressed the buttons very hard, which was quite frustrating. The shower drain couldn’t keep up with the water flow when it was set to maximum or even near maximum, so we had to be careful not to flood the bathroom. The balcony door didn’t close completely – there was a visible gap in the frame. Luckily, it was quiet outside, so it didn’t bother us too much. Also, there was no ashtray on the balcony. Maybe we should have asked at the reception, but we improvised in the good old-fashioned way. :) Overall, these things didn’t ruin our stay, but they definitely could be improved. We enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely return here when we visit Amsterdam again.
I had a wonderful stay here! I really enjoyed the balcony - it was a lovely spot to relax. The mattress was absolutely exceptional. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk from the tram station, so it’s very easy to get to the city center or to the major museums. The room was very quiet, which made it easy to rest at any time of day. The breakfast was great for us – it might be a bit simple for some, but we found it more than satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, a great experience!
