Dear Gauthier, thank you for your response. Due to the historic nature of our building—a monumental canal house—certain structural modifications are unfortunately restricted. We are indeed in the process of an additional window ensuring compliance with the guidelines and regulations for monumental buildings. As you can imagine that is not a quick process as it requires various approvals and steps within the process. In the meantime we do have portable heaters positioned in every room to ensure a comfortable climate for our guests. Wishing you safe onward travels. Indeed as our hotel is housed in a monumental building there is not lift and the typical Amsterdam staircases are steep. Hopefully our team, available twenty-four-seven did assist you with your luggage. Sorry to read that our breakfast was not up to your expectations.
