No water pressure at the shower, little detilas at the room that made not comfortable (door to balkony not holding itself, a bug chair in a tiny tiny room, no chair at the balcony). And the room was tiny which is okay, I just wished it was advertised as that

It was a little noisy from other hotel guests but the information by the hotel asks people to be considerate and they can’t do any more than that l. The fridge in my room wasn’t functioning.

Fab location and friendly staff. Early check in was possible. The stairs are indeed steep but that is clear in the description and it was fine for me - just took my time. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom more than adequate and modern. I didn’t have any problems with water pressure as other reviews said. The area is generally quiet, close to nice eateries, public transport and opposite a park.

No reception so when you arrive you meet the closed door until you call them by phone and they open it. The stuff started cutting trees and making terrible noise right under our windows and in the corridor 2 days from 3 from our stay starting from 6:30 in the morning. Even after I asked them to stop they continued. Couldn’t rest. It was very disappointing. No sleepers/toothpaste/toothbrush, etc. No breakfast.

Although the rooms are quite okay and clean. They could be a bit more modern. Especially the bathrooms. It is an old Amsterdam Building it has it charm but it might be a on the noisy side trough the walls when you not used to this ( having lived in Amsterdam myself it´s quite typicall and did not bother me)

The Location is perfect in a not so touristy Area of Amsterdam with good connection the the canals and city center. You have a great connection to central station with the Metro ( Waterlooplein Station) at a 7 min walk or a direct bus connection in a 5 min walk (Bus 22) The Hotel lobby is nice and modern. You can leave your luggage there on the check-out day.

In the single room minor things could be improved to make it more comfortable: the kettle could be smaller so it fits in the sink, the bedside table lamp could be a smaller design so it doesn't take up so much room and has a switch that's easier to find in the dark, the lamp over the bed doesn't work and is in the way when you're sitting up in bed so could be removed. These would all make a very small room more pleasant to stay in.

Perfect location, very clean and comfortable plus welcoming and helpful staff. A lovely place to stay.

Bathroom facilities could do with updating/modernising. Water pressure not fantastic and hard to regulate temperature. Light switch for near the room entrance not working so hard to use mirror in that area.

Parking which is a problem all over Amsterdam city central. Not a lot of options. Paid $34 euro for garage almost a mile away. Stairs only (not an issue for us).

The check in process was tricky because we arrived around 7 p.m. on Sunday. My phone wouldn’t connect to the number provided, so I had to find a work around by finding a link through the website that would allow my call to connect. We also didn’t have coffee in the room, just tea. There was coffee available downstairs, but not until after 9:30 a.m.. also, we found the room quite dark at night, even with the main light and lamps on.

The bed was really comfortable, the staff were great, and the decor was fun.

Location is great, However, also quite noisy because of the street and single glazing and the light from the hotel advertising board streams brightly into the room window. Even though it’s been done up (compared to old pictures still on google eg) It’s not very clean: there is mould in places in the bathroom, shower has no curtain or glass so water goes everywhere and carpets and curtains c/should be replaced as they look tired. The pillows are gigantic and too hard.

The location was exactly where I needed to be, and very close to public transport and to amenities. I liked the incheck system for entry which was very easy and convenient and that the property manager called to check what time we were arriving so all went smoothly. Bed is nice and comfortable.

The stairs are challenging, specially if you have more than one baggage and you stay in the last floor. The indications for the cleaning sign in the door was not clear, you have to call to their phone, we assume they would see the sign, at the beginning of our stay it was not a problem but the last 2 days we were surprised they didn't even check.

The rooms and beds are comfortable. The location is great, just a couple blocks to the metro, or a nice walk
