In our opinion, the breakfast could be improved, the reception service also.

When we arrived, the room we expected to have was not available. The staff solved it by giving us one of the best room of the hotel. We appreciated a lot their effort. This (large) room had two big windows face to the port, the view was spectacular! The bed was very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. The location is great.

No slipper, no fridge, no drink capability (cattle, tea /coffee etc) at room.There is at bar but it closes after sometime and you don't have any capability after that.Hotel is not so convenient to reach from airport and travel takes more than an hour. To go there by taxi should not be tried. Rooms and toilet side is narrow and not comfortable.Quality price ratio is not advisable.

Panorama around hotel is perfect. Location is so silent and resting. Staff is helpfull. Relations are warm.Breakfast is reasonable.There are good places to around and their quality are also good.

Damp smell in room corridor. Noisy outside and from guests below us in the early hours but not the fault of the hotel.

Difficult to get to as cars not allowed in vicinity, this made it hard as we had 10 bags. Once I walked to hotel I discovered it was possible to drive to rear of property to drop off bags and then go and re-park car in free parking about 400 metres away.

Right where the action is. Lovely staff. We were the only guests as hotel was closing for the week for some maintenance, and they made breakfast just for us. So much food it was crazy, but yummy and the ladies were nice.

Noise from the restaurants at night and garbage truck out front very early in the morning.

Being on the waterfront close to shops and restaurants. Room was modern and comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was the plastic bedsheet under the classic bedsheet. I know it is more hygenic, but at night it had me sweating like crazy...

The position is incredible, the staff very clear and helpful, the design very very cool. We also had dinner at the restaurant in front of the sea, breakfast looking at the dawn. It is an incredible place, if I ever go back to Volendam I will stay there again for sure!! Also, they offer free parking for bicycles in their garage.

No signage at the back, it took ages to find out were to go and eventually after going back to town to realise that this was actually were you enter “ through the storeroom and past the kitchen”. It will help to put the hotel name on and an explanation how to get to the reception.

Wonderful hotel, perfectly located with modern, cozy rooms and comfy beds. Great breakfast and top restaurant. The harbour view while having breakfast or dinner is amazing. Also the hotel is in the heart of Volendam the rooms are quiet and spacious. Team of Old Dutch hotel is sooo friendly and super helpful. Would book again.

There wasn’t a full time front desk. Servers, who were already very busy, would stop and help when they could. The television didn’t work properly and the bathroom sink didn’t drain because there was no way to open the stopper. This is a problem that the cleaning crew had to be aware of. Also no AC, so rooms had their doors open to help with cross ventilation.

Location was great. Food was great, even the included breakfast was great! The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Very nice place, people are very friendly and helpful. Excellent room, solid breakfast. Fantastic view on the harborside. All in all highly recommendable.
