The steep red staircase without hand rail needs more lights. Some of the displayed photos are not appropriate for children.

The artists who designed the communal spaces gently tease us to reconsider ‘normal’, by using surprising design features. Great breakfast and fun seating areas.

Even though it had only been 20 degrees outside when we arrived and we set the AC in the room to 17 degrees and maximum ventilation, the temperature didn’t go under 21.5 degrees so it was a pretty warm and stuffy night, especially without a window to open. A shame the AC system cannot deal even with mildly warm summer days. The shower has a rain shower and a regular showerhead which was loose and kept sliding down on the railing. Water pressure wasn’t great.

Really fun hotel, the common areas are an attraction themselves. Absolutely loved the design and ambiance. Staff was friendly and prices of drinks and snacks were very fair.

We asked in advance for twin beds and received a confirmation message from the hotel saying it had been arranged, but when we got there they said they didn't have twin beds.

Great stay. Everything was as expected / hoped for, and it's a great location for exploring Rotterdam plus catching the train.

Very unusual but positive experience. In a world where everyone stares at phones this hotel tries to snimate people to socialise in lounges and - success Great interior, great staff (special hug for Malika from my country and the tall dutch manager girl who have me instructions where to go and what to see in a day.. Good nights sleep, comfy bed, quiet, Nice bathroom Recommend, will be back 🤗

Upon arrival, the reception already assigned my room to someone else...so last minute arranged another for us, open the door and a greeting card with another person's name on it 🙉 Room needs better ventilation by the way.

Location is perfect, they offer a swimming pool which I didn't use tho.

The bed was uncomfortable. I think the mattress was broken from the sides. I spent 2 days, one day the eggs were freshly cooked nice hot, the other day it was cold. Hot water for tea was not hot enough. No kettle, no dryer in the room.

I liked the staff, friendly and helpful. I liked the note on my bed which was personalized. Location was perfect near the centraal station. Facility to put luggage. Hotel decor was nice.

I really liked the personal touches. There were strop waffles, a note and a nice origami tulip on the bed. Because of the design it’s a wonderful experience if you want something new. Totally recommend.

The room was very small and zero privacy. The shower wasn't in a seperate bathroom but next to the bed, not nice when traveling with a friend. The room could also use some shelfs to put your stuff on. Now you need to put everything on the ground and that space was already very limited

It was not disability friendly but the staff did eventually let me use the lift. I also didn't like the pillows as they were way too soft.

Would have loved some bannisters going up the stairs. Should have booked a bigger room. I found it difficult to organise my day without a decent table.

Location is very good - hidden behind the side of Central Station. Room was super small. It just fitted the bed and you could crawl out and into the shower. I would advise getting a room bigger than the small room. Staff were fantastically helpful. Hotel was trendy. Bar was open late at night. Great for a drink. Nice shower.

The room was very tiny so there little to no space to but our bags. The water from the shower got the floor really wet.

The bed was comfortable but the comforter wasn’t wide enough.

very central place, you're almost directly at the train station and it's still quiet. there's some rooms with no windows or where people are looking directly in your room, but for the red bookcase room it was good, very private. The decoration is funny. the staff is very nice. they serve some coffee / tea outside the rooms in the morning.

No chair to seat, bath room flooring slippery when wet. might be a health and safety issue. No bin in the toilet. Fire alarm sound off at 2:00 am but was a false alarm, although nothing happened and the alarm was silenced but as a safety measure customers should not be allowed to go back to their respective rooms unless properly checked by a competent person.

We did not have our breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Location was great as this was close to the Central station.

It can get too cold in the room but give it time to adjust -- the comfortable bed and warm duvet saves it!

The themed exterior of every room. I was joking at first that I look like on a "Squid Game" room but for every theme in there, there is a corresponding description and artist. Room's basic (no TV -- you won't need it as better to just chill and enjoy the fun exterior of the room and there is a hot shower, also tea you can get in the outside lounge
