Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My daughter (8) and I had a wonderful stay at the Moxy. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, just a 5-minute walk from both the central station and the high street. The hotel itself feels brand new – modern, stylish, and very inviting. The staff were lovely and made us feel truly welcome. Our room was perfect for the two of us: bright, spacious enough, and with a fresh, clean bathroom and a great shower. The TV with Chromecast was a big plus, as it made it super easy to stream our own apps – perfect for watching a series together after a long day of shopping and walking around. We had dinner in the restaurant, which had a lovely atmosphere. There were also games available for guests to enjoy, adding a fun and relaxed touch. Breakfast was just as I had hoped. The buffet offered a wide variety of foods: bread, buns, croissants, eggs, bacon, and yoghurts. The highlight for my daughter was definitely the pancake machine, which she loved. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy, making it a very pleasant start to the day.

This is a funky hotel within the stone's throw of the Hague centre. The staff are super friendly, check-in is easy and the hotel is clean and beautifully decorated. If you arrive by car, you can book a car park next to the hotel, which allows you to leave your car there for 24h. You can help yourself to free coffee and tea all day long. We really enjoyed staying at the Moxy and will definitely come again.

United KingdomA minor point but I would have liked the ability to make a hot drink in the room or at least on each floor. I know the coffee machines in the bar restaurant are available to guests at all times but it is a fair distance from the rooms.
Centrally located and close to the central train station, this hotel is excellent for a short trip to The Hague. The rooms were spacious and the bed comfy, the shower was powerful and the air conditioning was a bonus as it was warm weather. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and the reception is staffed 24/7, so there is always someone to answer questions or help out.

HungaryCleanliness was an issue. It was especially evident in the bathroom. Someone staying there before me had long dark hair, which I know because his/her hair was preserved on one of the shampoo containers. Although, if I wouldn't have noticed that, there was more on the tiles of the shower. If the goal was to distract me from the uneven temperature of the water coming from the shower, it didn't work: the hot water comes and goes just hectic enough to make your shower an annoying experience.
Centrally located, the hotel is an easy walk fron Den Haag Centraal. The room had no thrills, but did the trick. It was priced reasonably for the Netherlands. The staff was generally friendly.
