The hotel description stated that a bathroom was in the room, but the "private bathroom" was separate from the room itself, located in the hallway.

There was no AC however, each room had its own fan which helped reduce the temperature on a hot summers day.

Please note that our room is situated on the top floor, and it's quite a climb up a charming, albeit narrow, staircase. While it offers a unique vantage point, guests with knee, ankle, or balance issues might find the ascent challenging.

I can't recommend this Maastricht accommodation highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the owner and staff were incredibly helpful, making my stay truly enjoyable. Good size room, little space for hanging clothes. Really narrow staircase, not for people with disabilities. Excellent location, what a pleasent surprise! Walking distance everywhere. A grocery store near by.

The hotel was in a great location and the bed was very comfy. Although the rooms are basic the bed was very comfy indeed and it was very quiet at night. I was out working all day so appreciated a comfy, clean, quiet room to come back too.

The location was excellent and the staff so helpful organasing taxis and even changing our room when they realised my elderly mother would struggle with too many stairs. Quirky deco but that made it more interesting.

I probably wouldn’t choose a room that meant I had to cross a hallway and unlock a door for the bathroom again but this slight inconvenience was reflected in the price.

Oh my. The stairs are so steep. If you have mobility problems it is a love / hate relationship. So close to the centre and everything you need but damn the stairs are like Mount Everest even for able bodied people. If you like getting very drunk 😉 or do have a permanent disability, maybe consider somewhere else. Apart from this, it is a great hotel.

Location was great. Right in the heart of the city and very close to bars and restaurants. Close to the Vrijthof for the Andre Rieu concert which was great.

I cannot think of anything major, maybe a few smaller details like a second (hands) towel would be appreciated.

My room was quiet and there was no noise from the street (however, it was oriented towards the yard). The staff were friendly and initiated an offer to upgrade my room. The place is connected with a bar, but it has a separated entry and you don't hear any noise. The beds are high and super comfy, my room was also quite big and comfortable. The location is directly in the city center.

The hookers at night meant we could not sit at the bar for a drink because the smoke bothers me but not everyone.

Fantastic location right near the main Mkt square, churches and restaurants . Only 10 mins walk from the station . They make a wonderful coffee the best we had in Europe and were very helpful and amenable. Also carried our bags up the steep stairs for and served an excellent buffet breakfast.
