We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dominican RepublicIt’s a “digital” property, so limited to no staff available on site (after 6pm). They have a digital front desk where there is a phone and even a screen to connect guests to a staff member on duty. This is a nice concept, but horrible if no one answers. We had a little issue but were unable to resolve due to we couldn’t get a hold of anyone. The next morning a manager was kind enough to help out. The standard double room does not come with a coffee machine as showed on the picture, it comes with a kettle for instant coffee. Unless I am mistaken, this detail should be updated on their profile to avoid any confusion.
The room was good, clean and comfortable.

Great location, nice Mattress, towels, Ritual Brand Shower Gel / Hand wash, Villeroy & Boch branded WC and Wash basin / accessories. illy coffee machine / pods. spacious toilet and good design and well-lit. Just across the Hotel you can see Tulip garden [private] where you can take good photos with the garden as background. Again walkable distance to Keukenhof gardens [though we drove to the parking before we checked-in]. Easy Digital Check-in to the Hotel / Room [please make sure you have either Roaming or sufficient Data roaming in your phone to use this facility since the gitital passkey comes via email]. There is an Italian restaurant [Panini] just 15-20 minutes walkable distance from the property. Use goole maps. Good Beer and Pizza of course.

I got spammed from the hotel's AI on my email and WhatsApp as well with question about my time of arrival, even after I checked in physically, I got another email with information about how I can check in. TV can be connected only via USB.

I do think if they had a place on site that was open for coffees and breakfast and food it would be alot more appealing. It used to have this when I visited there 6 years ago and it was a lot better .

United Arab EmiratesThe staff: I asked the receptionist for help with directions and he replied: "I live in Amsterdam, I don't know anything about the area." I was sick and I couldn't even get food (the restaurant was closed because it was Monday, I asked the receptionist for help to get an app that delivers or even the name of a supermarket in the area. The AC was on even though it was -3 outside. I asked the receptionist to help with that, and he sent someone, but still it wasn't fixed. The bus that was supposed to be available wasn't. And the location is not ideal.
The room was big and the shower was amazing!

NetherlandsThe stay itself (room, reception, facilities, price, ...) was perfect, but I would advise the hotel to review their prepayment requirements and be more in line with Booking.com: despite the fact that I gave my credit card details when making the reservation on Booking.com, I received several automated emails from the hotel asking me to pay the full amount 2 days *before* my arrival, otherwise my reservation could have been cancelled. I had to spend time sending various messages/emails to clarify this point and from a customer perspective this is far from ideal. For everything else, I can't complain at all.
